'Patrick is a fantastic host. he was so accommodating. He even facilitated our early check-in as well. Clear instructions were provided to the home, use of utilities, the management of the bins and everything else. The house was in a mint condition. 'The gate house we were put in is nothing like the main house rooms which are advertised. It was freezing cold, run down, beds worn out, mold in showers, 1 shower leaked all over the floor, no included breakfast, narrow spiral staircase to upstairs bedrooms. Definitely not a 4 star property. Very disappointed. '

'Very cosy place. Warm welcome by Chris, the owner. A nice place to return to. The Sligo area has so much to offer that we did not manage all we had been looking forward to. The nature around Sligo is stunning. We very much enjoyed our walks to Coney Island, the Devil’s Chimney or the hike to Queen Maeve‘s grave. Also the Strandhill people’s market at Sligo airport was lovely, with artist Tony Osborne‘s display of outstanding paintings. 5 stars for both Chris‘ cottage and the Sligo area'

'Het hotel is erg groot. Wij hadden een familiekamer in een van de zijvleugels en dat was best een eindje lopen. Maar, mooie kamer! Heel ruim met een mooie badkamer.
