"Everything was perfect for us to enjoy the area and drive into clifden for restaurants and pubs for traditional Irish music. The road is a bit narrow towards the house the last bit but we did it slowly. We also enjoyed great meals at the nearby Connemara sands hotel just near the house."

"Property is a compact and cosy house in rural setting. 15+ minutes walk to Ballyconneely which has a convenience store, coffee shop and pub/restaurant. Surrounding countryside is stunning. Guinness Beach is in walking distance and Dogs Bay Beach is 20 min drive. This is a must visit - the nicest Beach I've ever seen. Nearby Clifden (15 min drive) is a bustling town with plenty of shops and restaurants and it has a vibrant feel. We were lucky with the weather too which always helps."

"We had a great time at the Cottage. We arrived late, but Ann had a roaring wood burning fire and a bottle of wine waiting for us. "Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

"Debbie and her place were amazing!! The pictures don’t do justice to this restful place. I could feel myself relaxing the moment I stepped out of the car with the view, sounds of the waves and smell of the sea. While it’s remote, it is also very near to anything you would need. The house was immaculate, thoughtfully laid out and well stocked. Debbie was delightful and a joy! Next time, our stay will be longer!!"

"I stayed here with my 2 teenage children and our dog. We loved the house and location. Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million"

"We’re “day trippers” and value returning after a day’s foray to a welcoming home. Heaven, Too was just that and more: spacious to the point of luxury, with views that constantly drew the eye.
