'Nice, big appartment in the city centre. In the night it was very quite, but during the day until 21.00 hrs there was a very noisy airco from a restaurant nearby. But as said, it did not disturbed our sleep. Appartment has a very nice view towards the bay. Overall, we recommend it'

'Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

'Ariana is enthusiastic and welcoming. Her advice led me to Murrooghtoohy for a beautiful view in the Barren. She provided detailed information ahead of time. One suggestion. Her directions indicated that her house was the second one past the church; the distance past the first house is hundreds of yards, so keep going even though it looks like you might have missed it. I recommend staying here. '

'This was the perfect place for our group of 14, ages 3.5 to 70. We were provided with everything we needed to cook, play games, celebrate and sleep well. There was plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Just the loveliest stay! Our host Deirdre was absolutely delightful, welcoming and thoughtful. She responded quickly to questions before and during our stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we are in the area. '

"The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because some idiot smoked in his room, it took quite long before it was taken care of. Besides that, fantastic week, fantastic stay. "
