'The property is beautiful and peaceful. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Tabitha kindly left us some essentials for the first morning. I can’t think of anything that we needed that wasn’t provided. The location is perfect for many day trips. Thank you!'

'Excellent holliday home, with everything in it you could need, including washing machine and dryer. The location is remote (owner lives about 500m down the road), your neighbours are the cows in the fields adjacent to the home. If travelling with younger children be sure to take something with you for their (or your own) entertaiment. For us this is the best home we had so far.'

'A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though.'

'Absolutely stunning house, everything was perfect ! Closely located to the Woodland place hotel which has a fab restaurant . We will definitely be back. Angela was so easy to deal with and left us a very thoughtful breakfast , some fab bread and Orange juice and eggs, what a lovely touch . '

'By far the oldest house we have slept in. The owners did an excellent job making it comfortable and charming. We loved that the host went through the house with us upon arrival and gave us an orientation. He even picked apples and pears from the yard and put them in a basket for us on the cozy table. The house is quite large with lots of sitting areas, a nice fireplace and cozy beds. We loved the town Adare and highly recommended this stay'

'David and Ellis are consummate hosts and this enchanting cottage was well-equipped with anything and everything one might need during a stay here. The home is exactly as described, full of character, charm and history, yet containing the modern conveniences that ensure one’s comfort. (Fantastic shower pressure and temps and consistent wifi!) a big plus: an accessible ground floor bedroom with accessible shower room. (Note, there is one step to enter the home). The horses, dogs, and the bunnies...

"Nette kamer, goede voorzieningen. Groot en netjes. Gezellige bar. Restaurant chique, maar toch net niet helemaal. Beste ontbijt van Ierland was het zeker niet. Helaas tijdens verblijf 2 maal brandalarm rond 02.30u. Nachtrust daarna verdwenen, na in de lobby horen dat het vals alarm was. Hotel laat op geen enkele wijze blijken dat ze dit vervelend vinden voor de klant, zowel in de nacht niet als tijdens uitchecken (dagdienst wist van niks?!). Sla alsjeblieft de koffie (espresso) ook over (een van de slechtste ooit helaas). Geen lift, route naar kamer met bizarre kuil met trappen naar soort tussenverdieping."
