'If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney. '

The house was perfect for us all.. my sons spent time exploring the local countryside and the children enjoyed finding new hiding places for hide and seek. Helen couldn’t have been more helpful. 'Our stay was an absolute dream! Lorna and Peter provided a one of a kind experience. Upon arrival we were giving a tour of the farm and grounds, then a walk through our cottage, which was clean, well maintained and full of activities. Lorna then invited us to check out the afternoon milking, then meet and PET the cows and then young calfs who were curious enough to walk over. Then we met the farm horse Drift, who couldn't have been friendlier. The two dogs are adorably cute and the chickens are...

'We had a wonderful time in Ireland. The fishing was outstanding, and the apartment was simply superb. You couldn't ask for a better host than Richard. I already miss the lovely conversations with him and his family, as well as the peace and quiet of the countryside.'
