'Het hotel blijft bestaan doordat het ideaal op een ideale locatie staat. Er zijn een paar goede medewerkers. Het personeel dat de kamers moet doen heeft geen flauw idee wat ze moeten doen en we moesten vaker om schone handdoeken vragen dan ons lief was. Het ontbijt is erg karig en voor bijv. een plakje kaas moet je vragen. Het dineer menu is beperkt en als je meer dan 4 dagen in dit hotel blijft is de keuze op. Al met al wij zullen er nooit meer naar toe gaan.'

'This place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madeline’s. '

'Quirky from the outside but nice inside. Comfortable and clean. We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930. Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night. Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. '

'Cathy was the perfect host, advising of local areas of interest and producing leaflets for everything mentioned. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of options, and set us up for the day. Nothing was too much trouble. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit and wish we were staying longer. '

'Het hotel ligt mooi. De meetings is een plek waar twee rivieren samenvoegen. Precies daar is het hotel en vanaf het gezamenlijk balkon was er een fantastisch uitzicht. Kamer was prima. Er stond een X-box met spelletjes en dat was voor de kinderen na drie weken geheel onthouding een prettige verassing. Wij zijn twee nachten geweest, prima geslapen. We hebben het hotel gebuikt als uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Dublin. Dat ging prima. 's avonds gegeten en naar de bios in Arklow. '

'Goed gelegen. Niet ver van Glendalough. Onmiddellijke omgeving ook heel prettig met samenvloeien van twee riviertjes en mooi gedenkteken van dichter Thomas Moore. Het eigen restaurant was reeds dicht bij aankomst, maar we werden heel gepast verwezen naar lekker Wooden Bridge restaurant 6 km verder. Gastvrouw heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Receptie wat rommelig en restaurant erg groot voor beperkt aantal gasten, maar algemeen zeer goed voor een democratische prijs.'

'Personeel vriendelijk, kamer prima, helaas slecht matras waardoor je de hele nacht in een kuil ligt, om de 10 minuten een zoemend geluid, rookmelderlicht brandt de hele nacht boven het bed, ventilatie in badkamer ontbreekt, kamer is bereikbaar via een slecht verlichte steeg dat geeft een onveilig gevoel waardoor je ook niet met een geopend raam durft te slapen terwijl het best benauwd was in de kamer.
