'We stayed in off season. When we arrived at 4 pm, nobody was there. Another guest let us know the keys were just behind a flower box. Got in, lovely room, clean, with plenty of amenities. Good water pressure. My only wish would be that they provide wash cloths, as well as towel racks or some form of hanging and drying our towels. There not a single hook or rack in the entire room. A simple fix, but certainly worth it. I didn’t have much hope for the breakfast, not sure why, but it was...

'Kindly allocated us a ground floor room when they noticed my husband had mobility issues. Room was spotless, food was excellent and all staff really friendly. Will certainly return for another visit'

'Locatie is erg mooi, kamers met uitzicht op de haven. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Interieur is oud en muffig, gehorig en benauwend, erg veel trappen en smalle gangetjes. Alle luchtjes uit de keuken blijven in de gangen hangen.'

'Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely cottage. Had all we needed. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Fab location for supermarket, bakery, gift shops and loads of restaurants a few steps away.! Short drive to major sightseeing spots too We would definitely stay again and looking into when we can rebook. Ps. Also got to enjoy the outside seating area for a couple of days. A real sun trap '

'Fantastic Sunday lunch and great customer service. Upgraded to a junior suite which was very comfortable, lovely large bed, warm room, nice bathroom and great shower. Finished off with a great breakfast menu s d very good Northumbrian breakfast. '
