'What a great week … as others stated the property exceeded expectations …. Nice and roomy.. Kitchen is super well equipped … checkin was a breeze as door code provided and easy entrance. Master has great view of lake and sunrise… 2 bathrooms with showers is a bonus… water toys and inflatables were great as was the hot tub … lots of comfy chairs on dock and deck…. Screen in room overlooks lake and is excellent for your morning coffee and reading time…Fire pit area is large and roomy and ample...

'The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. '

'An amazing place to escape from the world without travelling too far. There is lots to do nearby and the set up of the cottage gives you good amount of privacy from neighbouring cottages. Host is readily accessible and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!'

'Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. 'I really loved how intimate this experience was. We had only one other group here and interacted only just enough to say "hello" in passing. There are HUGE berry bushes, lots of (tiny, harmless) wildlife, beautiful wild flowers, and trails to follow. On the downside, I was a little sad to discover that this space doesn't have a dock nor anywhere to rent watercraft. The advertisement somewhat led me to believe otherwise. There are, however, excellent rates nearby in Bancroft proper.'
