De ligging is geweldig voor Chinatown bezoek !!! En het is een uniek plekje eigen steil, mooi levendige bar goede cocktails en live muziek , geen last van op de kamers. Kamers ruim en super ingericht . Tweede keer nu zeker niet de laatste keer .

Het is een oase van rust in een hectische wijk van Bangkok. Het eten is heerlijk, de entourage is geweldig.

Top hotel!
Vriendelijk ,professioneel personeel ! We werden hartelijk ontvangen, kregen een kamer upgrade( fantastische suite) Hielpen ons bij al onze vragen over tours. We reizen veel en naar verschillende landen, maar wat een top , uitgebreid ontbijt hebben ze hier! Zeker erbij boeken:-) En het wauw effect vh hotel inrichting moet je zelf ervaren. Gaan dit hotel zeker aanbevelen en mochten we ooit weer in Bangkok komen, dan weer in dit hotel!

Prachtige locatie in bruisend hart van China Town. Heerlijke muziek in restaurant. Goed eten met zeer persoonlijke ontvangst. Prachtige kamer. Ik bleef maar foto's maken. Heel mooie aanpassing door restaurant naar beneden te verplaatsen.

Chinatown is overweldigend. Druk, warm en qua sfeer om nooit meer te vergeten. Dit relatief luxe hotel bied een goede uitvalsbasis.

Leuk hotel, aardig personeel. Kamers zijn schoon, alles werkt naar behoren. Enig nadeel is dat er tijdens ons verblijf storing wad met internet, waardoor we geen gebruik konden maken van WiFi. Het zou helemaal top zijn als het hotel een zwembad zou hebben.

Aangenaam en net hotel met correct en vriendelijk personeel. Het hotel is gelegen in Chinatown en is er ideaal als een rustige uitvalsbasis naar de stad toe.

Het hotel is echt een ervaring. Over de kamers hebben ze tot in de kleine details nagedacht. Ook leuk is dat alles in de minibar gratis is en iedere dag wordt aangevuld.

Hotel ligt vlak bij station en de service is uitstekend, ook bij informatie ovr kosten van bv tuk tuk of axi naar bezienswaardigheden. Kamers zijn prima, alleen douche is niett handig (geen handdouche) en er is maar 1 stoel voor 2 personen. Zeer goede service.

The hotel has a fun vibe and decor. The bar is awesome, but there was live music each night that was so loud, you couldn’t chat. Seating was hard to come by. The room had a very flimsy lock, and the doors were similarly dodgy - big gaps between the door and wall/floor, so you can hear everything on the floor. Only one key available per room. The spa services were great.

When the cab pulled up I thought “Oh no, what a dump”. But upon entering I saw that it was beautiful. Antiques throughout and a HUGE (like 5 rooms long and 3 rooms wide) koi pond with water lilies blooming. From 3-4 in the afternoons they provided tea and light snacks. There was a woman performing a zither-like instrument. Delightful after a morning shopping the nearby street markets. The hotel is in an old section of town, very loud and congested but inside, we didn’t hear any of that. Don’t let the exterior throw you off. It’s a great place to stay.

The afternoon tea was lovely. The bar was nice but VERY EXPENSIVE. Money grab here. You can go down the street and get cocktails for a third of the price. They should think about this.

Great hotel is middle of chaotic Chinatown. An a oasis . Very unique in style and does stand out from surrounding area properties . Only downside was had bed and poor variety of channels …. Only bbc was in English (would be handy if you want some me time in room in evening after a busy day ). Staff lovely and breakfast excellent . Stay here !

This is truly an amazing hotel. The service, the location, the atmosphere, the breakfast, the complimentary afternoon tea and baked goodies, the lounge and nightly live music are all top notch! However, just a word of caution - the rooms are windowless, a bit dated and we had a sewage smell coming out of the shower drain. Housekeeping came immediately to rectify the issue. I would still highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience in the heart of Chinatown.

I liked the atmosphere here. Chinatown has lots of energy, street food, gold stores, vendors selling everything. Shanghai Mansion’s location is in the heart of the district. One thing I did not like is the TV in the room — only a handful of channels, none in English, reception was poor in most to the point of being unwatchable.

This hotel has a unique Chinese traditional design. It's probably ok to stay one or two night for the experience.Room has an open-toilet design,so odor from the toilet can get into the room. Room seems to have a damp smell all the time. Tooth brush,paste are provided only on request. Drinking water is not provided which is a bit inconvenience.

Fantastic stay for our honeymoon. Right in the middle of Chinatown but the room was very quiet. Authentic decor, super clean and very friendly staff. We would definitely recommend it. Felt like vip guests from check in!
