Prachtig uitzicht en stappen naar skipistes, 3 slaapkamers, 2 1/2 bad (1 douche en 1 klauw bad) gerenoveerd 1500 m² chalet, open haard, granieten aanrechtbladen en roestvrijstalen apparaten, tegelvloeren, alle houten wanden en plafond. Minimaal verblijf van 3 nachten. Geschikt voor maximaal 7, 2 slaapkamers met kingsize bedden, 1 slaapkamer met een stapelbed en wegrollen voor maximaal 7. Huisdieren op aanvraag en niet-restitueerbare aanbetaling afhankelijk van het huisdier. Kijk rond voor Beech Mountain Chalets en je bent het erover eens dat dit een van de mooiste op de berg is.

Short ski vacation

Our family has skied for many years and I had always wanted to star in a "round" chalet ski cabin. This one fulfilled ALL my expectations! It was tastefully decorated with all things "mountain cabin" related. Comfortable furniture in the den and very comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. All the linens carried out the "mountain cabin" theme also. The location was excellent. It was listed as ski in/ski out, which it truly was. We had just a small glitch with this. There had been a 6" snowfall in the couple of days before we got there so it took a little shoveling to access the slope. It would be a good idea to provide a metal shovel in place of a plastic shovel for this job. We also loved the wood burning fireplace! A great experience and we would surely rent this chalet again! We didn't have any reason to message the owner as everything was just as the description said.

Fantastic Winter Getaway

Amazing!

This rental was exactly what was promised. The views were amazing and our family had an incredible time skiing in and out of this beautiful chalet. We weren't quite prepared for the difficult drive up to the house (especially since the ski resort had been blowing snow all afternoon), however, our host was quite helpful when I messaged him on VRBO, and even called me to make sure we made it up ok. We got some snow chains and it made things much easier. The town does an excellent job of clearing the road in the morning, making access much easier. We also met one of the neighbors who offered to help us get out if the need arose. If you plan to stay here during the winter months, definitley plan to arrive before nightfall so your trip up will be easier....or ensure your vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel drive or snow chains. Beds were comfy, living room was cozy, and the beautiful Christmas tree welcomed us when we arrived. We loved our stay here and honestly can't imagine another ski vacation without staying right on the slopes!

pure enjoyment!

This is our second time staying here and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The weather was perfect - cool and sunny - and the back deck views were amazing. MBR was very comfortable, and we just love the wood fireplace. The kitchen also had everything we needed. Look forward to our next stay here next chance we get!

House was fine, it is one of the older house's in that area beaning up graded. I'm not sure what the stop work order posted at the steps is all about? Had a slight mildew smell when we first walked in, I'm sure due to the changing weather on Beech, was not an issue for us. Parking can be an issue if you have a full size truck like ours. The trash site is closed on Wednesday, we left early Thursday. Overall no issues, house is fine, easy skii in-skii out.

We enjoyed our stay at this property which was comfortable, clean and only a short walk to the slopes. Parking was great and easy to unload the car into the main level. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location

This rental worked out really well for us. The property is exactly as depicted. Great location with ski in/ski out access. The property owner did warn us ahead of time that the road can be icy after the sun goes down. We did have trouble getting one of our cars up that did not have 4 wheel drive so i would recommend 4WD only. We waited for a warmer day and we’re able to get it up later in the week. The property could have been cleaner. The floors and counter were not thoroughly clean and there were dead flies on the window sills. Just made me wonder how much I couldn’t see…also the room with the bunk beds was missing a blind which led to no privacy to change in there at night and light streaming in in the morning. No condiments in the house and bare bones items like trash bags, sponges, dishwashing pods etc. not a complaint just good to be aware of so you can bring your own in case you use up what they left. No shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc so plan to bring your own. Overall positive experience but a few small enhancements would take this from 4 stars to 5.

Perfect for a skiing!

Great place to ski out of! Walked very short walk to the slope. Very easy in and out. The house is very nice and well equipped for your stay. Host was very nice and accommodating. We ski a lot and would definitely choose this place again!

Great location - fun home

Outstanding location! Definitely ski in/out. Loved the wood burning fireplace (we did bring our own wood). Great use of the space - six adults were comfortable. Definitely will come back. Only suggestion is that if you are a serious cook, bring some kitchen supplies with you.

Great Home with fabulous location and views

Had a lovely stay in this home. Great views and you can’t beat it for convenience to slope (gate to slope is just a few steps away). Nice neighbor used his bobcat to dig our car out of the snow drifts. Just mentioning to anyone reading reviews to bring your own paper towels. The listing didn’t mention it would be there so no fault to them I just assumed it would since that’s become pretty standard. If I had to nitpick I’d ask for an additional pot in the kitchen (one large and one pretty tiny one are there); that’s grasping for a negative though. Overall fantastic stay and great home. Owners answered any questions/concerns almost immediately snd were very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

house was in good order, location is great if you're there to ski. Parking is a bit tight, but it's typical of Boone/Banner elk. We will definitely sign up to return, owners seemed very cool and followed up with us as well. Great place to stay.
