Little Brook Cottage Mount Desert Island

Het huisje is in studio-stijl met een complete keuken en een bad. Ingericht met een klassiek thema. De ruimte voelt alsof je in een sprookjesachtig huis bent. Het huisje ligt achter het hoofdgebouw op het terrein.

Een korte autorit van onbeperkte wandelpaden. Net op de weg van het Bass Harbor light house, en een korte rit naar Bar Harbor.

Weg van de drukte van de Bar Harbor, maar dichtbij genoeg om alles te ontdekken wat ons eiland te bieden heeft.

Ontdek Mount Desert Island vanuit je eigen, rustige suite. Gratis bussen (de Island Explorer), veerboten naar de "rustige kant van Acadia" - Schoodic Point, festivals en meer.

Kom naar huis na een dag sightseeing of wandelen naar je gezellige suite en ontspan in het prachtige landschap.

Perfect Quiet Space

I loved this location away from all of the busyness of Bar Harbor. The cottage had everything I needed for cooking there, and after a few nights on the road with questionable showers, the heat and pressure of the shower were amazing!

This was this cutest little homey cottage. It was very clean, had everything we needed and nicely decorated. It was perfectly sized for two people. We had the best stay!

Not a quiet little cottage

Property owner was not present at check in. I messaged him for arrival and entry instructions and only received address and was told there was a lock box on the door. Upon arrival, we eventually discovered the door was unlocked with a lock box on the handle. Less than 5 feet from our bed was a dehumidifier that had instructions to empty when full…VERY LOUD. We didn’t bring in our luggage as everything smelled like a damp basement. There was a binder on the table with a list of instructions. If you don’t follow the instructions on the remote for heat/air, you will be charged $100 for a repair person to come out to fix. Also, for EVERY 15 minutes beyond your 10am check out time, you will be charged $50. Rules posted everywhere…kitchen, bathroom,etc. We left at 7:30 am. This was not the place for us!

Cozy base for exploring

The cottages easily accommodated our family group of five adults and three children. The beds were comfortable, and the well-appointed kitchen enabled us to cook meals. There were many thoughtful decorative details to boot.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Very small cottage, but perfectly sized for two people. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and we were situated to go all over the island. We will definitely be back to Acadia!

Overall good stay, great location

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, both 19 years old, to visit Acadia National Park. The check-in process was very easy, and we got in an hour early which was great. I would definitely recommend having no more than 3 guests as it is a very tight squeeze, but it worked out since it was really just a place to sleep. I would also mention that the bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t lock and leaves a gap. We encountered one issue regarding the oven during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and offered a solution. My only complaints would be the lack of hot water and the slow wifi. This property also has a very nice outdoor area to relax at after a long day of hiking. Overall a good stay for our purpose of coming.
