Oceaan huisje met een prachtig uitzicht op Cadillac Mt., zeehonden en de oceaan vogels

Acadia National Park ligt op slechts enkele minuten afstand van deze oceaan huisje. Bezoek er voor wandelen, fietsen en rijden het park loop weg dan terug naar de stille rust van West Bay. Er is een groot strand om te zwemmen, kajakken of gewoon op zoek naar schelpen, zee glas of het kijken naar de zeehonden zwemmen in de baai.
Boodschappen zijn 15 minuten in Ellsworth. Winkelen is 20 min. weg in Bar Harbor en Schoodic Point ligt op een uur van de kust als u meer wilt kustlijn te verkennen.

Our family had an amazing time here. The cottage is spacious and clean, and the views of the bay are incredible (and we saw a few seals swimming by). Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Highly recommend!

The cottage was in a private area yet easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor! The cleanliness was very much appreciated! The beach just steps from the back door allowed kids to go and walk along the beach. Lovely place inside and out!

My family had a wonderful time visiting Maine and staying in this lovely cottage. The view was breathtaking and felt so peaceful! Only 20 minutes from all the things…which to me was perfect!!! Our family of four just LOVED this property. It was our first trip to Maine and we are hooked! This cottage is warm and inviting and simply breathtaking. We had so much fun exploring the beach during low tide and searching for sea shells. We were sad to leave, but cannot wait to come back!

The cottage was perfect for a couple. It's very peaceful and quiet, loved being able to eat breakfast next to the ocean each morning and the drive to Acadia/Bar Harbor is so short. You are good distance away from anything you need and still have the tranquility of nature.

We loved our stay at Emily and Bob’s place. It is a magical setting and the house is bright, well designed and immaculate. As an upper middle aged couple we appreciate the first floor bedroom with adjacent bath. Our son loved the loft. We also bought our pup! One unique experience was discovering a 24 hour cheesecake store in Ellsworth! We hope to make it back soon!

My family stayed at the Cottage for a few nights to explore Acadia/Bar Harbor. We are so glad we stayed outside of the downtown area, this quiet getaway is the perfect escape from the busy nearby attractions. It is well equipped and Emily was a wonderful host. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and unwind, this is the perfect fit for you. First off, the home is absolutely spotless, with comfy beds and ample space. The location is also ideal, the views are incredible. Our little girl had a great time playing on the beach and looking for sea shells. The home is the perfect home base to explore Acadia, Bar Harbor and other nearby attractions. We also really loved Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf. Emily, the hostess, is very knowledgeable and was so helpful during the planning process.

We had a fantastic stay at this house. The house is beautiful and cozy. Very quiet and peaceful location right on the water. Perfect location approximately 20-30min drive to all of the hiking trails of Acadia. Great to retreat back to our quiet VRBO to escape the crowds. Emily was a fantastic host. Very accommodating and accessible. Our baby and dog loved this spot. We would definitely stay here again!

As everyone says, Emily is a Premier Host for a reason! This place was the perfect place for our family (including kids aged 20, 18, and 15 years old). We all felt like Eiderway cottage was so peaceful and perfect that we couldn't wait to return each day after our many adventures that we had planned. We were able to swim in the bay at low tide (must have water shoes), hunt for rocks and shells on the private stone beach, have cookouts on the grill, just sit on that porch and soak in the most spectacular view, and have a relaxing small campfire on the stone beach at low tide. Emily was very helpful and communicative via the messaging inbox to help make our stay perfect, but also made sure that the cottage was so well-stocked and spotlessly-clean, and that the instructions for check-in/check-out were so easy that you didn't have to contact her, if you preferred it that way (but we were lucky to meet her, and she is a true gem!). We hit all the major tourist sites within a 15-20 minute drive. If we didn't live so far away, I could easily name this as our favorite spot to return yearly! I do hope to return again, one day. Thank you, Emily, for being an Amazing host!

This coastal cottage was beautiful and relaxing. The area was quiet, pleasant and peaceful. Very close to Acadia National Park, which we visited along with Cadillac Mountain. Very much recommend this place for your getaway. You won’t regret the views nor the beautiful cottage.

Very clean, cute house on the water. Near enough to town but peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views. Our only slight issue was that I didn’t realize that two of the bedrooms upstairs were actually part of same loft and so privacy was an issue for teen son and daughter. They survived. Had a great week. Owner very accessible. Highly recommend
