Je kunt niet dichter bij het water komen dan bij On The Rocks. Dit kamp met drie slaapkamers ligt direct aan George's Pond in Franklin, Maine. Nieuw gekocht en verbouwd!

Veel vissen en zwemmen kan vanaf het dok.

MDI / Acadia National Park ligt op ongeveer 45 minuten afstand. Schoodic-schiereiland ligt op slechts ongeveer 30 minuten afstand en is erg mooi. U vermijdt ook het verkeer van Bar Harbor!

Beautiful

The house was cozy, super clean and the view was astounding! Kitchen had new appliances and was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc. Loved starting the day with a cup of coffee enjoying the view of the pond. Highly recommend.

Picture perfect location!

On The Rocks was as beautiful as you can imagine fall in Maine would be! You literally are right on the lake, view is gorgeous. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything we needed, close to hiking and seeing the coastline of Maine. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I'd go back but would stay longer

Didn't want to go back home the cottage was so cozy and the pond so beautiful. Everything we needed was on site, clean & worked well. We ate at the owners' restaurant on Desert Island andenjoyed that too.

Peaceful Pond Living

Property was spotless, well-equipped and very comfortable. Easy to communicate with owner when we had a question. Easy trip to local areas of interest, yet felt worlds away from tourist bustle. We spent many tranquil and restorative hours just gazing at the pond and watching the loons.

On The Rocks provided the perfect quiet getaway for my fiancé and I! We didn’t mind the 30-45 minute drive out to Bar Harbor - there are so many fun stops along the way. The kayaks at the property are a plus, too! The house is very clean and had all the essentials.

First Maine Visit

Cabin was perfect. Quiet and comfy. No problems at all. Maine is beautiful. There is even a little spa down the street called Dewey’s. Hair, mani/pedi and tanning bed. Much needed R&R.

Perfect Little Getaway

We enjoyed our time One the Rocks! Such a nice peaceful area. The camp was very clean and we wanted for nothing. We enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas, but the drive wasn't too far to go anywhere. My husband went out on the kayak and found a bald eagle in it's nest! We would love to go back!

Loved staying On the Rocks. Nice size cabin for two…with everything we needed. Beautiful views! Great suggestions on places to visit and eat … their restaurant was wonderful! Only complaint was the mattress. Plenty of fish and eagles to watch!

Peaceful retreat

Me and my boyfriend came to Maine to hike in Acadia National Park and despite the distance (~40 mins) from ANP, decided to stay here. We didn’t regret the decision! We loved coming back here to relax at the end of the day. We even took advantage of the kayaks one morning. The area is just very peaceful overall and this cabin is very cozy.

Off the Beaten Track

Great place. You have to be ok with being 30-45 mins from Acadia -- if that's why you're in the area -- but otherwise, fantastic camp. Everything's as listed, clean, beautiful, comfortable. We enjoyed going to Schoodic and touring around some of the pottery studios. Also, hiked a bunch. The camp was a perfect place to come home to at end of day.

An idyllic spot!!

We had a wonderful stay at ‘On the Rocks’. The house was everything promised! We enjoyed watching the sunset on the deck, drinking beer by the warmth of the brazier and canoeing on the lake. The house itself was very well appointed and warm. WiFi worked well. We were so sad to leave!!

Wonderful stay!

We are so happy we decided to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and booked this place. We looked forward to waking up to the beautiful view every morning and seeing the gorgeous sunsets every night. The house was perfect and it came with everything we needed for our week long stay. The owners were also so easy to contact when I had a few questions. We hope to be back next year!

Best vacation, EVER!!!

This is the first time the pictures didn’t do the place justice! “On the Rocks” was AMAZING! It was clean, and had everything u could possibly need! We enjoyed kayaking around George’s pond! Loon’s and bald eagles were plentiful! We will definitely make this a place to revisit!!!
