Een slaapkamer met queen-size bed, woonkamer, een badkamer met bad en douche. Er is een kleine koelkast & Keurig; geen keuken. Gratis wi-fi, maar geen televisie. Een wi-fi "extender" heeft de wi-fi problemen opgelost waar sommige commentatoren over geschreven hebben. Er is een grote bank waar een peuter of een heel klein kind comfortabel op kan slapen, maar het is geen opklapbed. Dit toestel is boven onze garage met aparte ingang via een buitentrap, zie foto's. Als er mobiliteitsproblemen zijn, is dit niet de plek voor u! Inclusief toegang (twee treden) naar een afgeschermde in balkon.

Wij zijn gevestigd in de stad Hill gebied van Bar Harbor. BH het centrum is een 15-20 minuten rijden van hier, met behulp van de charmante en accuraat de naam "Crooked Road." NE en SW Havens en Ellsworth, zijn ook elk ongeveer 15 minuten rijden. Het is een makkelijke wandeling van 10 minuten naar het 'Blue Horizons'-reservaat van de Maine Coast Heritage Trust om de oceaan te bereiken, en het natuurreservaat Blagdon ligt op 5 minuten rijden.

This is a beautiful property with a lovely second-floor apartment. This was our second time staying there and, hopefully, our third will be next summer. For the native plant enthusiast and environmentally minded individual, this is a great place to stay!

Very lovely spot in a quiet wooded area with a great central location on the island. Comfortable and clean. There were magical tiny lights on the large trees outside that made it fun. Also come nice walking trails nearby. We loved it there and would definitely go back.

The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park.

This property is perfect for a solo traveler. It is peaceful and quiet but close to Acadia National Park as well as Bar Harbor. Barbara was such a great host, with all kinds of tips about the area and information about the NP. Sometimes, I navigated only from her directions without using GPS! I even got suggestions prior to going on the trip which really helped in planning! The apartment has many little extras such as a Keurig and a well-stocked bookshelf. The bed is comfortable and the property is beautiful with fairie lights in the trees welcoming you back if you arrive after dark. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. The guest suite was impeccably clean and had everything to make us comfortable. It was a nice place to come back to after long hikes and crowds in town because it was private and peaceful. Very enjoyable!

The host was easy to reach and gave us heads up on where to book reservations early for special sights( Cadillac Mountain and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden), location was only 15-20 minutes from key sights, accommodation offered good value. Be aware that there are steep steps and a tight bathroom. However, the unit was the perfect place for our timing and budget.

Best vacation hideaway! The studio was just what I had hoped! Located in the woods, quiet, yet central to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was clean and sunny. Barbara and David are FABULOUS hosts! They respected my privacy, yet were available to answer any questions I had. Their suggestions on restaurants, hikes, and must sees were awesome! There is no TV, which may be difficult for some. It was a perfect way for me to unplug, relax and catch up on some reading. Several other reviews mentioned adding a microwave to reheat leftovers. While it would have been helpful, it definitely was not a deal breaker. There is a Keurig as well as an electric hot water kettle. It was great to be able to enjoy coffee or tea in my down time. I wish I could give them more stars. I am so hopeful to return to explore more of Acadias beauty. I will be sure to stay at Barbara and David’s getaway haven! Thank you for a magical stay!!

It's around 16 min by car from Bar Harbour and ~15 min walking from a trail that goes to a nice beach. The unit was great, and very cozy. We had a parking spot. The hosts were welcoming.

The location is very private, but it is still very close to the location’s attractions. Our host was excellent. Communication was quick and helpful, the property was clean and well stocked, and check-in/check out was simple. The only thing I can think of that would improve the property would be a microwave.

I was very pleased with this vacation rental. The location is great. It is tucked away in the woodlands, but it is only a short drive away from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It is cozy and comfortable, especially after a long day of hiking in the surrounding area. I enjoyed sitting outside and soaking up the late afternoon sun on the outdoor patio. The owners are very friendly and easy to contact. As advertised, there are no cooking amenities, but there are plenty of great eating establishments close by to explore. I highly recommend this place.
