  • Aspen Cabin is al vele jaren een verhuurbedrijf waar gezinnen terugkomen om van hun Maine-zomer te genieten en geweldige herinneringen te maken. Deze eigenschap is onlangs overgeschakeld naar nieuw management en een nieuwe aanbieding en onze zomer in 2020 wordt beter dan ooit tevoren!

    Kom genieten van deze prachtige blokhut, zandstrand - Little Tunk Pond retraite! Aspen Cabin is omgeven door Schoodic en Black Mountains in een zeer privé-omgeving die je laat denken dat je deze vijver helemaal voor jezelf hebt! 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers geven uw gezin voldoende ruimte om binnen of buiten te ontspannen op de beschutte veranda na een dag wandelen of een bezoek aan Acadia National Park. Buiten vindt u dat we een nieuwe grill, geweldige houten schommel, een omheind gebied hebben om uw honden te laten rennen, 3 kajaks en een kano. Als vissen meer jouw stijl is, hebben we daar genoeg van, met zalm en forel in Little Tunk. Misschien wil je gaan zwemmen, deze vijver is daar geweldig voor en Big Tunk ligt op slechts een korte loopafstand! We hebben een generator die is aangesloten om onmiddellijk over te schakelen als de stroom ooit uitvalt. Er is ook een vuurplaats die op je wacht om te verschijnen voor smores of sterrenkijken. Aspen Cabin is hier om u de rust te bieden om weg te komen in het bos met behoud van alle gemakken van thuis!

We had a wonderful stay at Aspen cabin! The pond is so peaceful and wonderful for swimming and kayaking. The cabin’s location for our outings and visits to Acadia was really nice. We enjoyed the fire pit and the cabin was well stocked and clean. We would definitely return and recommend it to others.

Great Time!

We had a great time at the cabin, the location with the pond was amazing. The house is exactly had advertised and has everything you need for your stay.

We loved this private, rustic cabin and lake! The property is gorgeous and peaceful. We enjoyed grilling out and the fire pit and stargazing at night. Our dogs had so much fun, also. We were so comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks!

Cozy cabin and beautiful scenery

Our family had the best time at the cabin. The kids swam and fished in the lake while the adults enjoyed watching them and the scenery from the shore. The cabin felt private yet we were close enough to Bar Harbor.

We had a fabulous stay at the Aspen cabin. The kids swam and paddled for hours in the beautiful pristine water of Little Tunk. The sunsets and then the stars in the clear dark sky were spectacular! We are definitely excited to return next summer.

Wonderful vacation!

Our stay at the Aspen cabin couldn’t have been better! The cabin offered the perfect getaway in the midst of all the best of Maine. Clean, well-stocked, and with a wonderful host, the Aspen cabin provided us with the ideal spot for our Acadia adventure.

We had the best week at the Aspen Cabin. What an adventure for us and our five children ages 5-15. The cabin is clean and adorable and the setting is truly idyllic. The photos in the listing do not do it justice We hope to come back again! Maine is such an amazing, beautiful place

Beautiful cabin!

Our stay at Aspen cabin was wonderful! The cabin is very clean, comfy and well-equipped! Little Tunk Pond was quiet, and the water so beautiful! Great for kayaking 😊. We enjoyed a trip to Acadia, some sightseeing and hiking! We’d love to stay again !

This exceptional home provides the best of everything—tranquility and comfort in a stunning setting. The pond is perfect for young children, yet also ideal for boating and fishing. We enjoyed local hikes and explored the charming shops in Bar Harbor, making it an unforgettable experience.

Just incredible...

Stunning location, cabin was so awesome, comforts of home but feeling of being remote. Location is lakeside but still within 45 mins of shops. I can't way enough about this place. We will be returning next year!

Amazing house!

We loved our stay at this property! Super relaxing and had everything we needed. Kayaking and spending time on the lake was the best part. It made being an hour from Acadia and Bar Harbor more than worth it. Shasta was a great host and extremely accommodating. I will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous experience! The cabin was as advertised and a perfect location for a family get away! We loved the property and proximity to the water. My kiddos enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat. We especially enjoyed s’mores around the fire. The remote location was peaceful and restful, but close enough to Acadia and all it has to offer. A perfect family retreat! Just what we needed as a family to kick off summer 2025!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Quintessential Maine rental. The lovely cabin is secluded and the pond it sits on is simply beautiful; we spent multiple days not even leaving the property with the opportunity to canoe, kayak, and paddle boat right there from the small, private beach! There was still plenty of time to visit Acadia National Park, smaller parks/independent trails, and multiple nearby harbors, as well. My family is very much looking forward to coming back here, as it was the perfect spot and we all fell in love with it!

Tunk Lake is a pristine, rustic slice of heaven. Cabin was exactly as described; towels were thick, cozy for post swim & showers. Kitchen is well equipped. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Serene location

We had such a great time enjoying the property. The sunsets were amazing! We felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The authenticity of the log home and decor felt like a real Maine vacation. So many supplies were provided and especially the water toys. I felt like our adult children would get bored by the end of the week, but they did t want to leave!

Perfect

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to stretch out. The kids nicknamed it frog lake due to all of the frogs that would hang out under the kayaks. There are a few other cabins within a close proximity, but we rarely saw or heard anybody. It felt like we had the lake all to ourselves. We need to come back when the sky is clear so we can sit out at night and look at the stars.

Peace and Relaxation

I can not say enough about the cabin. Shasta was so easy to work with and provided all the details we needed. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and our 2 dogs. The property felt completely private. We enjoyed the peace and privacy but also walks along the property and also were close enough to Bar Harbor, Castine, and Schoodic. The kayaks and paddle boats were so much fun and the lake was crystal clear. The fireplace was amazing for little fires to start the day with out coffee. :). The location was great, groceries and activities are easily accessible. We did not want to leave and hope to return soon and stay longer. Thanks again Shasta for everything.
