Bosrijk huisje in de stad met uitzicht op zee, lopen naar Marina, hoofdsteunen

Nieuw huisje gelegen in het bos aan de Quietside van M. D.I. met uitzicht op de Outer Islands. Huisdiervriendelijk. Op loopafstand van de stad en de Great Harbour Marina met meer dan een dozijn restaurants in de omgeving, evenals het gratis pendelbussysteem (23 juni tot Columbus Weekend) naar bijna overal op M. D.I. en Acadia National Park. Minuten naar Acadia National Park, wandelen, fietsen, kajakken, zwemmen, bergbeklimmen, vogels kijken, walvissen spotten en nog veel meer.
Dit is een nieuw huisje voltooid in de herfst van 2011. Een slaapkamer met een queensize bed, slaapzolder met een dubbele Futon, kathedraalplafond, woon- en eetkamer met een opklapbed of luchtbed voor extra slaapplaatsen. Propaanhaard met een handmatige of thermostaatregeling voor de koele avonden die we soms in Coastal Maine zien. Eikenhouten vloeren. Volledig ingericht met de meeste items die u nodig heeft en probeert op verzoek alle items te leveren die u mogelijk wilt. Een volledig houten terras met tuinmeubilair en barbecue. Een vuurplaats en 4 stoelen in de tuin en beek voor het huisje. We kunnen met onze drie huisjes (HomeAway # 956783 & # 3498716) zoveel grote groepen of familiebijeenkomsten (14 personen) herbergen.

This property was such an Amazing find. Walking distance to town and yet it felt nestled deep in the woods. We saw so many animals in just a few short days - deer, turkey, and even a sweet skunk! This property is a wonderful basecamp for visiting Acadia and feels very removed from the chaos of other nearby places to stay. The night sky from this cottage is incredible. Be sure to visit the local restaurants and shops- everyone we met in Southwest Harbor was so welcoming. We will make this property our Go To for Acadia and the surrounding area every time we visit Maine.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin! Check-in was seamless, and the house was spotless and ready for us upon arrival. As a family of four, we found the space to be incredibly well-designed—our kids (ages 11 and 14) loved sleeping in the loft, while my wife and I were very comfortable in the bedroom on the main floor.Although the cabin is compact, it never felt cramped. The layout, furniture, and even the bathroom were thoughtfully arranged and made the space feel open and inviting. Everything—from the indoor seating to the outdoor furniture, grill, fire pit, and kitchen appliances—was in excellent condition, super clean, and a joy to use.The location was ideal: just 20 minutes to Acadia’s main trails and Bar Harbor, and only a few minutes to the nearby downtown. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area.We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-appointed stay near Acadia park. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This cabin was amazing! The location back in the woods up the end of the road was a welcome retreat after days exploring the island and Acadia. The deck was perfect for coffee in the morning or drinks at night. The sunrises were beautiful to watch from our own bedroom. :). Fire pit was so cool to have and the wood provided was perfect . Vicki was a great host and we’d definitely come back for a stay in the future.

Perfect location and all the amenities in a cabin-like setting. Easy to walk to town (just walk down the long driveway) but just as lovely to relax feeling away from it all. The deck was perfect and we had a nightly firepit with the fully stocked solo stove. Laundry in the outside area was very much appreciated as were the games tucked away inside. We loved every minute of it!

A perfect getaway

A lovely property with a beautiful rustic cottage. The attached deck is perfect to sit, relax, and enjoy the falling leaves. You are only a few miles from Acadia National Park and walking distance from the harbor. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Perfect location
