Charmante kleine hut gelegen in de dennen gelegen aan Lake Superior. Sneeuwscooter pad is aan de overkant, gemakkelijke toegang. Kitchenette, Wifi geen wachtwoord.
gelegen een vierde mijl van Baraga State Park aan de waterkant.
Ondiep meer stelt kinderen in staat om op een warme dag van het water te genieten. Een mijl van Baraga jachthaven met boot toegang. Picknicktafel om te genieten van het diner. Beddengoed wordt verstrekt. Stenen open haard voor een handgemaakt bed met houtblokken uit onze tuin en drijfhout uit het meer. Een dakraam is boven het bed. Een uitklapbare slaapbank slaapt twee. . Een kitchenette is beschikbaar met elektrisch fornuis, koelkast, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster en magnetron. Keukengerei en bestek bevinden zich in de kasten. Satelliet-tv en gratis wifi. Gasgrill om buiten te koken. Uitzichten zijn hemels. Een woonkamer met een tafel om te dineren kijkt uit over het water. Mening van het standbeeld van Bischop Baraga over het meer. Ontspan en verlaat de buitenwereld. Restaurants zijn in de buurt en drie op loopafstand. Wasserette in de buurt en casino ligt op slechts enkele minuten .. ponton, kajak en bootverhuur verderop in de straat bij het tankstation.

This listing is deceiving. The whole area was under a blizzard warning. They had roughly 3 days notice that this storm was coming, and it did. 14 inches of snow later I’m supposed to check in but the host forgot to make sure the rental was plowed. Her words “oh yeah I forgot that” when I called to find out what was going on. I was refunded that first day. Day two, and I didn’t get checked in until after 11am. So most of the day gone. Did not get a refund for that day. Now on to the house. My suggestion to anyone thinking of staying here, DON’T! Especially not during winter. The whole place is one big draft. Unless you’re standing in the bathroom you’re not going to warm up. I think the one vent this place has, was covered by laminate flooring. Which is peeling from, everywhere. Speaking of the bathroom, the flooring next to the tub is pulling away from the tub and I can see copious amounts of black mold. Huge health hazard right there. I did a bunch of baking while I stayed here because the oven was the only reason my husband and son didn’t freeze. Over by the bed the floor felt like walking on cold tile. That’s because there’s a hole to outside! There are other reviews that the bed wasn’t clean, that was not the case for me. The dishes on the other hand, all dirty. The place has not been maintained in any manner, basic things like plumbing and heating are not high on the list. All this to say I would NOT recommend staying here. It’s not worth whatever they’re charging.

The cabin was cute, very outdoorsy but really cool. We tried to count all the bears in the cabin, we never could come up with an actual count. We looked all around in our adventure to the north for a bear to add and could not find one. Really nice place. The traffic was a bit much the first night but we got used to it. The fireplace was awesome, we missed our real one and it brought us home. Lynn was a pleasure to deal with she even surprised us with coffee pods one day. She was so sweet. Lynn thank you for everything, we left you a couple extra glasses, a coaster (my wife has an issue, she needs a coaster) and a throw pillow to add since we could not find a bear. Thank you, definitely will consider coming back.

We enjoyed our stay. Both the property and the cabin are in need of cleaning and maintenance. We chose not to use any appliances other than the refrigerator (that also needs a thorough cleaning as there are spills in the drawers) due to fear of electrical fires.. The laminate floor in the bathroom is in bad shape as is the stripping below the tub. Bed blankets and linens appeared to be unwashed so we just used our own blankets on top. The property around the cabin is unkept and badly overgrown with dangerous trip hazard roots near porch stairs. If there were a lawnmower there I would have cut the grass myself! We didn't spend a lot of time at the property as we were hiking and touring the sites over the 4 days of our stay. Due to a booking mistake, I inadvertently booked two separate weekends, and the host refused to fully refund my cancelled stay which cost me an additional 120.

Not a place I would stay at again or recommend to my worst enemy. Dirty. Dog hair all over the furniture and bed. The jetted tub had to be cleaned as there was some hair in it and soap scum. Mouse droppings in the cupboard. Living and dead spiders everywhere Pictures on booking site may well have been taken on the first ever roll of color film. But if that’s not bad enough hwy 41 is about 25 feet from the cabin itself. A hundred or so vehicles an hour with the semis giving the cabin a nice little jiggle each and every time. Pump alarm goes off at 5:00 am. Call the host and she says she can’t help and needs to get some sleep because she just had surgery. REALLY!!!!! Told her that we should be getting money back and her response is I can’t help you with that. I bet she gets all her money though

Not on Lake Superior but in the bay. Right off the highway and the road noise was unbelievably loud. Very cluttered, not very tidy or clean. The small property is shared with two camper trailers which obstructs the view of the bay and has no privacy. Bed is in the kitchen, no where to put your stuff, bathroom floor is in poor condition, toilet is unstable, internet is spotty at best, no welcome packet or info about area. Overall, this is probably the worst Verbo I have ever stayed in.

We loved our time here!The cabin is close to the lake & we enjoyed that! We had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We liked that wood was supplied for a fire. It was clean & had a cozy, lived-in feel. A couple small things that couldve made our stay better or we wish we wouldve known: our grill wasnt working (I never asked host to fix, so thats on me), most of the Adirondack chairs were broken, unlike the photo there is NOT a boat for your use, the cabin is very close to a busy highway & there is road noise, finally- you will be sharing the property with two RV Campers that are also rented out (they are in close proximity). We had polite neighbors that minded their own business, but I would've like to have known that prior. Maybe it was written somewhere, but I didn't know until I arrived. Having said all that, it was a pleasant experience & im happy I stayed there.

While it is a pretty raustic cabin; there were several issues that needed to be fixed pruir to someone staying here. The stove started the smoke dector the minute we tried to use it. The toilet leaked. There are also two campers on this property so please be aware if you think youll be alone. We were thankful no one was staying in them. But all in all it was a good stay. If we had the time my fiance would have offered to fix eveyething for them! The offer is there though!

The place could have definitely been better maintained!!! It was a cute cabin and beautiful shoreline of Lake Superior !! The cabin appears to have not been cleaned, 1st thing I had to do was clean the refrigerator out to be able to put our food in there was crusted food and shells of onions. The best part we enjoyed was the fireplace . We thought that it made more sense for the bed to be on the other side of the room and the dining area and living area to be in front of the fireplace, but we still enjoyed it. The bathtub was something I looked so forward to being that it was jet powered, but when we started the tub and the Jets, a bunch of black flaky fungus came out and continued to come out While running !! we had a blast, exploring the nature in our surroundings and hiking!!
