'Het is werkelijk een paradijs! Wanneer je de kamerdeuren opent naar het balkon, staat je een geweldige view te wachten. Je kijkt direct uit op zee, en je voelt de 'ocean spray' op je gezicht als je op het balkon staat. Vanuit de kamer zie je de lokale vissers hun vangst binnenhalen. Het personeel is allemaal even aardig, behulpzaam, gezellig en open. De bevolking in Barbados is erg gezellig. 'We had an amazing time at the resort.The resort was clean enough, well maintained; there was some construction noise, but nothing disruptive. There is no elevator, but each of the buildings are 3 or 4 storeyed so you don't really need one unless you need accommodations. There are few restaurants but not everything opens at all times so check the schedules. Amenities were good, only thing, bathroom lacked exhaust fans so we had to keep the windows slightly open for air circulation and humidity...

'Top ligging, iedere avond tussen 19.30 en 22.00 uur life muziek. Eten a la carte uitstekend ! Buffetten zeer slecht, nooit eerder zo onsmakelijk gezien ! 'If you are on a budget and don't need perfection, this hotel is great to book. The food was good to excellent, the room was clean and spacious and the personel of Dover Beach Hotel is very friendly. They upgraded our room free of charge to Oceanview because of our honeymoon, and the overall experience is to make you feel very welcome. 'Reliable internet'

'The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. Location is great if you want peace and quiet; it’s not near too many other resorts. There are clubs nearby, outdoor which allows you to enjoy the outdoor air and environment. You have to take a taxi to go from the resort to downtown or walk maybe quarter a mile to bus transportation, which was easy to use.'
