On the island of Noirmoutier, you can visit the Gois passage, which the Tour de France has used several times, fish for clams and cockles, walk in the oak forest bordering the Plage des Dames, enjoy the aquatic park with your family, taste the "bonnotte", the famous new potato, depending on the season, and feast on seafood. And of course, you can relax on our beautiful sandy beaches and go for long bike rides on our many cycle paths. And if you feel like going out into town, Noirmoutier is 1 hour from Nantes and 3/4 of an hour from the African Safari.
