Prima hotel voor een citytrip op een fijne locatie. Metro station op 3 min loopafstand waardoor je makkelijk op de centrale plekken komt. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam echter bij inchecken kregen we weinig informatie over de omgeving en het hotel zelf. Kamers waren ruim en schoon. Het hotel is zeker een aanrader!

Het metrostation Rocafort ligt op slechts 100 meter afstand. We zijn blijn dat u volop genoten hebt van de sfeer alsook het eten in ons Restaurant 'Villa Emilia Bistrot'. Ons dakterras is ideaal om een verfrissing te nuttigen voor het avondmaal of om tijdens de zomer van onze barbecue met live muziek te genieten. Het zou ons verheugen u nogmaals te mogen verwelkomen. Really a MUST GO hotel !
Very trendy and loungy hotel in the heart of Barcelona between Plaça d'Espanya and Plaça Catalunya. Metro at 100m and Aerobus stop at 400m. Comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast is super, even cava and wine are available. And of course all the necessary things to have a delicious breakfast. Fresh fruit and even grains and goya berries for a tasty muesli. At the roof located the magnificent Zinc-Bar, for a cocktail or wine with some tapas. Lounge seats and music for a stressless drink. Also the restaurant is super and a good recommendation for a lunch or diner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The best rooms are at the backside and at the higher floors.

Het metrostation (Rocafort) ligt op slechts 100 meter afstand, waardoor u gemakkelijk toegang krijgt tot alle bezienswaardigheden van Barcelona. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, goede service. De kamer zelf niet erg speciaal in vergelijking met andere 4 sterrenhotels in Barcelona. Vrij kleine kamer. Geluid op de gang goed hoorbaar in de kamer. Geen koffie- en thee faciliteiten op de kamer. Tevens geen badkuip.

Geweldig verblijf in Barcelona
Het hotel en de kamer zien er heel stijlvol uit en zijn heel erg schoon. Het personeel is erg aardig en helpen je graag, vooral de stagiaire achter de receptie. De ligging is ook erg centraal en 100m verderop is het metrostation gelegen. Wij hadden een erg ruime kamer (nr 60) met een heerlijk bed en een fijne badkamer. De kamer werd erg grondig schoongemaakt en dit vonden wij een groot pluspunt! Het hotel heeft ook een heel erg gezellig dakterras waar je als hotelgast elke middag gratis drankjes (water, huisgemaakte ijsthee en koffie/thee) kan drinken met een aantal snacks en 's avonds tegen betaling gezellig kan borrelen. Ook heeft het hotel een speciale computer en printer waar je je vliegtickets kan uitprinten, dit vonden wij erg goed geregeld. Het enige minpuntje vonden wij dat het uitchecken erg onpersoonlijk was. Zo werd er niet gevraagd of we een fijn verblijf hadden gehad en werden wij niet gedag gezegd, maar dit is ook het enige minpuntje. Hotel Villa Emilia is een echte aanrader en wij komen zeker terug!

Stayed for a few days and nights and it was a lovely room with modern decor, amenities, including an iron and board we could use for our stay. The area was super walkable with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. in the area. It was a great place to be for what we wanted to do. We didn’t use the metro, although it’s right at the end of the street. Would stay again.

Ao chegar no hotel , a recepção estava toda em obras o que foi muito decepcionante… O correto seria eles terem fechado o hotel no período de obras , pois o café da manhã ocorreu num local no sub-solo ao invés de no restaurante … Quartos com bom espaço , decoração e banheiro bom , porém a reforma do hotel foi um transtorno que poderia ter sido evitado

We booked a 1 week stay and loved it. As it is slow season, the hotel was quiet and feel intimate. The staff was super friendly and always helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint would be the bed was a bit hard. After a long day exploring it would have been nice to have a little softer bed. Regardless, Is would absolutely stay again and recommend it.

The check in was smooth and pleasant. However, afterward, the staff was not friendly. At check out, no thank you or anything. No soap to wash hands in bathroom. Had to grab the body wash from the shower. No extra pillows in room. Not a four star experience.

The hotel is aesthetically well put together - clean and modern, but the reception/front desk staff are not very kind or accommodating. The staff at the cafe downstairs were, however, very kind and offered great service. The bed was terribly firm, which we were informed all the beds were the same throughout the hotel, something to keep in mind if looking for a comfortable night's sleep on your holiday. Did not rest well during the stay. No kettle or coffee in the room either, which is a minor detail, but something worth including.

Situated on a quiet corner this hotel is very charming. Staff and helpful, rooms are pretty and very quiet. A bit small but we expect that in Europe. Toiletries were luxurious. We enjoyed some drinks and snacks on the rooftop deck.

Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and only 10-15 minute walk from Placa d’Espanya. Easy access to metro, close to the train station and close to the bus that gets you to the airport. Room was clean and the AC was quiet. All hotel staff was very helpful and especially the young kid Hocua working at the front desk.

Fabulous service, basic rooms.
Service excellent. Rooftop terrace bar, downstairs bar and food excellent. Bathroom products excellent. However, I would hesitate to stay again. It is a reasonably expensive hotel but we booked a double and got a twin (impossible to combine with two single quilts), there are no coffee making facilities and no complimentary water. There is also limited storage, bland decor, no nice views, a shortage of hangers and, though they will bring an iron, housekeeping remove it when they service your room. If you’re not bothered by the room, definitely stay here. It is quiet, the staff are excellent and the roof terrace is very good (but you might want to book a table).

What a find! Hotel Villa Emilia is amazing. Fantastic location, metro on the corner, great staff. A special mention to Claudia whom was fantastic.
