You won't regret this
Everything you might need is available, all kind of shops are nearby, for breakfast/lunch or coffee it just takes a 10 step walk! Also the metro and bus stops are close. Airco in all rooms. The appartement is very clean, I would recommend one extra relaxing chair (now 1 couch and 1 chair).

Zeer centraal gelegen appartement met veel ruimte!
Voor een weekend is dit een fantastisch appartement (voor langer verblijf ook trouwens). Op een paar minuutjes wandelen van de Sagrada Familia en verschillende eetgelegenheden. Makkelijk om een fiets te huren om de stad te verkennen. Openbaar vervoer en de taxi zijn ook prima vervoermiddelen om grotere afstanden te overbruggen om bij alle cultuur en ontspanning in de straf te komen. Appartement is volledig voorzien van airconditioning. 3 Ruime slaapkamers keuken met oven en badkamer met luxe douche. Keurig schoon en opgeleverd en vriendelijk contact met de eigenaar via What’s App.

The place had a bad smell when we walked in. The coversheet of the sofa was stinky smelly. It was like it never had been washed for years. The supply of the toilet paper and the paper kitchen tower were not provided. The unit was unprofessionally managed.

A horrible start to a great trip
We arrived at the property to a complete lack of hospitality (no meeting upon arrival, code to access building did not work, it was near impossible to open door with key given). After entering apartment to find one roll of toilet paper and two towels total provided for four adult women for five nights. Bare minimum at best! We were instructed by the “host” to leave the required tourist tax of 120 euros in the wardrobe which we immediately did upon arrival, so it would not be forgotten. Two weeks passed, while we were still on vacation, we receive an accusatory communication stating that we failed to leave the tax, and that she would be charging a credit card for the amount. We immediately responded letting her know we had followed her direction, but she continued to aggressively pursue the issue, even accusing us of lying. She made an unauthorized charge of 120 euros on the credit card. If you choose to rent from this host, make certain you personally hand her the taxes and get a receipt. We feel that she is a dishonest person, less than gracious host, and should be ashamed of herself! We have stayed at four additional vacation homes, and have enjoyed wonderful hosts throughout our trip, and have received glowing reviews from them. Respectfully, Three Grandmas and a Great Aunt

I do not recommend this guest. She lies and cannot prove her words .
 She did not pay the tourist tax. She had to leave the tourist tax in a mailbox but she didn't do it. I claimed it and she blamed my cleaning team (very honest humble people) for stealing it. Obviously this is not the case since the cleaning team do not have access to the mailbox. She threatened with a “honest”, in her words, comment if I claimed what She did not pay. It is sad to see that the “three grandmothers and a grand aunt” (as they define themselves) use the credibility and respectability of senior people to blame my humble cleaners and try to damage my well deserved 11 years long high ratings and credibility being a premium host just to save 120€ local city tax. Beware of these team.

Awesome apartment in Barcelona
We came from Madrid to Barcelona on an early train and I had a horrible migraine headache. I texted the host asking if I could just come to the apartment and lie down even though it was well before arrival time. She was most accommodating. There was a slight issue with the bathroom door which was fixed the first afternoon. The apartment was clean and spacious. Beds were nice. It was in a good area close to Sagrada Familia and not far from the Arc de Triomf and Ciutadella Park. Easy access to metro lines and the rest of the city. Many places around to eat. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thanks!

Perfect Christmas family accommodations near Sagrada Familia

Great location; great apartment
The six of us enjoyed staying in this apartment. It’s well situated – just a short walk from Sagrada Familia, and 2 minutes from a convenient metro station – but as soon as you’re through the outer doors you discover it’s quiet and cool. The air conditioning was a godsend, and the kitchen was well equipped for everything we might need – but in fact we didn’t cook, owing to there being so many wonderful restaurants to explore. Cathrin was very friendly, and responded immediately to queries before and during our stay. We loved our visit and would very happily stay again.

Comfortable stay
We stayed here for 5 nights in June. It was really nice to have A/C during the heat. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with basic items you’ll need to make a simple meal. We liked having the tiny outdoor space to have a glass of cava in the evenings. The place was also very clean! Would stay again!

The apartment is in walking distance of everything. So much to see and do in Barcelona! We enjoyed our stay there. There were a couple of problems with the smart lock, but it worked on one of our phones, so we were okay.

Great place to stay in Barcelona
We had a very enjoyable stay at this apartment. It was a good location for us - very close to our granddaughter's school, Universita Pompeu Fabra, and also close to Sagrada Familia and other wonderful Barcelona sights. It was very easy to get around from there. Cathrin was helpful and responsive. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Alert to future guests - Access requires an app to open the doors, and the washer/dryer doesn't open for a long time after it stops. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

We enjoyed the property. Beds were comfortable. Three bedrooms were great. Amenities very good! Only downsides were 1 bathroom and don’t overload the elevator. Host was easy to reach. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay at Cathrin’s flat
Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) stayed in Barcelona at Cathrins apartment! The space was clean and had everything we needed and more! Very well equipped! The location was fantastic. We walked everywhere, saw all the sites, great food all around! Cathrin was so helpful answering all our questions and replied super fast. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

Lovely apartment close to everything!
We loved the apartment which is centrally located and allowed us to walk where we wanted or take a short cab ride when our feet gave out. Our host Cathrin provided excellent instructions and communication. Also there is a cute Tavern next door so say “hi” to George! Highly recommend this apartment. It is charming and the building is charming and easy to access. Lastly we felt very safe day amd night.

Very Nice
We stayed here for 4 nights. Communication was good, checking in was easy and very good instructions were given for everything. My main criteria was clean and safe and this apartment was both. It is very handy to many things, easy to pick up groceries, etc, lots of place to eat nearby and close to many key areas in the city. The accommodations were comfortable. It is a renovated older building with lots of character and charm. We would recommend to anyone that is looking for something in Barcelona.

Très beau séjour hormis la météo !!!
Appartement conforme au site. Dans un quartier très calme à quelques minutes du métro. Je ne connaissais pas le système d'ouverture des portes via le téléphone (application à télécharger ) ce qui m'a un peu inquiété mais au final ça s'est bien passé . Ne pas oublier la carte blanche (clé )parce que si vous retrouver dehors avec votre téléphone sans baterie on peux plus accéder à l'appart Je recommande vivement cet appart

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage
Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe von La Sagrada Familia und 200 m von der Metro Station entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher in der Straße gefühlt. Es ist eine sehr schöne und große Wohnung, welche uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir können die Wohnung gerne jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Cathrin was a dream to deal with, responded promptly to every question and provided help on taxis etc. The apartment was easy to find and access, was exactly as described on the web site, very clean and well equipped, beautiful old building with modern facilities in a great central location. Idéalement situé, à 2 pas de La Sagrada familia, parfaitement isolé donc très calme et parfaitement entretenu, dès le hall d’entrée de l’immeuble : magnifique, avec une décoration sobre mais élégante. Et la climatisation, un réel plus lors des chaleurs estivales. Un petit supermarché à qqs mètres et 2 pizzerias en face ( pas terrible). Bref on recommande ++++ ce logement identique aux descriptions du site.

Wonderfully located Apartment in quiet neighborhood with lots of resources.
Apartment comfortably sleeps 6 with good kitchen space, bathroom and social area. Modern kitchen appliances though low quality cooking equipment. Quiet location for central city location. Lots of small shops (bakery, meat, fruit/vegetable) nearby along with super market, hardware and pharmacy all in walking distance. Easy walk to metro and Sagrada Familia. Lack of furnishings in social area moderate drawback ( one convertible couch and TV theoretically for 6 to share). Minimal stocking of routine paper/ cleaning items and lack of instructions for appliances unfortunate ( no paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags or laundry detergent). But if major use of this rental is just as home base to go out into city, these may not be as important. We stayed in hot humid summer and air conditioning very good in all areas though loud for sleeping at night. Lots of closet space in bedrooms. Minimal bedroom lighting and other furnishings. Owner very accessible and flexible to address questions and needs. We used online internet manuals to address questions for working kitchen appliances.

A great place to stay in Barcelona!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, the place was clean, and Cathrin made sure we were greeted upon our arrival. She did a great job communicating with us and making sure our needs were met. She even arranged a taxi to the airport for us at the end of our stay. One suggestion I would add that another place we stayed at had was a sheet with instructions on how to use some of the appliances. Since we are from the US we were unfamiliar with the European washer/dryer and microwave oven operations (but were able to find manuals on the internet). Overall, it was a great experience!
