Foto's op expedia komen niet overeen met de realiteit. Wij hadden geselecteerd een privebadkamer voor onze kamer, die was er niet. Er zijn enkel gedeelde badkamers. De badkamers hadden voldoende voorzieningen maar waren niet erg hygienisch. Veel schimmels aan de randen van de douche. Er was geen badmat dus de hele vloer werd nat als je doucht. Weinig tot geen opbergruimte in de slaapkamer, klein tweepersoonsbed, vuile muren en deuren, enkele priezen werken niet, oude raam die maar aan een kant open kan waardoor er erg weinig zuurstof binnenkomt, ... de kamer is in herstelstaat. De voorzieningen in de keuken zijn aan vervanging toe. Het stuk waar je water uit de deur van de ijskast kan halen is volledig verroest en beschimmeld. De apparaten zien er vies en ongekuist uit. De sinaasappelpers op de foto in de keuken is ook enkel voor de foto gedaan, die bestaat niet. Bij check-in vroeg een medewerker van het hostel om het overige deel, 200 euro, in cash te betalen. Deze bleef maar doorzetten om geld te gaan afhalen en dit met cash te betalen, dit kwam erg louche over. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een medewerker van het hostel heeft ons geholpen met een probleem tijdens de vakantie. Het openbaar vervoer was op wandelafstand bereikbaar. Voor een citytrip is dit hostel absoluut niet aan te raden. Heel mooi en charmant op foto, zeker voor die prijs. Maar de accommodatie zelf is niets in vergelijking met de realiteit.

Awful stay. Incredibly deceived.
We booked a few days stay at this place. We thought that it would be the nicest place of our trip, according to the pictures and the good ratings. But it turned out to be the absolute worst we have ever stayed, and especially for this money.I have never been as deceived as here. The photographs are heavily edited and NOTHING!! like reality. Moreover, we did not receive the room from the photo. The room we received was sticky and facing the busiest road of Barcelona, so there is constant traffic noise. The room itself is in a bad state. The double bed collapsed a few times (mind you, I am 48kg). When fixing the wooden slats, we couldn't help but notice the huge stains on the mattresses. According to the layer of dust, the mirror hasn't been wiped down for a couple of weeks. I wonder if the room is cleaned at all between visitors, besides changing of the bedsheets. Our booking included the use of a shared bathroom. I have stayed in many hostels, but I have never seen bathrooms in such a state. The showerhead which does not cost more than 20 euros to replace was broken and spewing a gush of water from one part. There was nowhere to hang it, as the holder had broken off. Mold, dirt and rust all over. My friend saw a cockroach while showering. When we checked out, the elevator did not work. Hauling our luggage down, we found broken glass and blood all over the floor. Turns out the elevator was smashed. If you want to enjoy Barcelona, avoid this place like the plague.

No servia el elevador de la entrada y nos toco en el 5o piso, tuvimos que usar otro que utilizan por otra entrada. Había cucarachas. El empleado Jorge, no fue atento, fue muy cortante. No hacen la limpieza del cuarto, a menos que se los pidas. Si pides que cambien las toallas, te las cobran.

Good location, Room is big, Air conditioner is quiet and cool, Staffs are very friendly. However the room soundproof is very bad... The common area is next to our room, you can hear all the noise in the midnight. The rooms are on the 3rd floor and face to a busy street with vehicles noise... If you can tolerance with noise but want a cheap prices then this hostel is fine.

Très déçus de notre séjour
Très déçu de notre séjour. Malgré que nous avons été bien accueilli par l’hôte, nous avons été déçus par l’hôtel. Le planche de notre chambre était sale, notre fenêtre était en partie placardé parce qu’il avait un air climatisé et on avait une vue sur un mur de brique. Les sales de bains communes étaient très sales, certaines d’entre elles ne se barraient même pas. Certains sièges de toilettes étaient arrachées et les vadrouilles sales avec eaux usées trainaient. C’était aussi très bruyant et la porte d’entré de l’immeuble ne se barrait pas. Bref beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c’est. Les photos ne représente en rien ce que nous avons eu.

Nous apprécions vraiment votre commentaire malgré notre surprise car nous avons un service de nettoyage tous les jours et nous nous efforçons de maintenir l'ordre et l'hygiène dans les installations. Super hôtel en centre-ville
Super séjour dans cet hôtel en plein coeur de Barcelone! Nous avons passés deux nuits agréable! La chambre est spacieuse et la salle de bain propre. Les espaces communs sont fournis et propres et très agréables! Nous recommendons vivement cet hôtel!

Good budget hostel
The hostel has a great location, very central directly on the Diagonal Av., so it's pretty easy to walk almost everywhere in Barcelona in 20-30 minutes. There are also several buses stops nearby and the metro is not far, so it's also well communicated. The downside to being directly on this main road is that the rooms facing the front of the building are VERY loud, with traffic noises not stopping either at night, so this may be a big problem for people sensitive to noise. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't really use much the kitchen, but it is definitely very convenient to have, and there's flatrate popcorn. For the price it was definitely a good stay, as long as you keep in mind that this is a budget hostel. Anyone looking for something fancy should probably consider paying for a higher end hotel.

La habitación y el baño era totalmente diferente de lo que vi en las fotos. La cama muy baja, ruidosa y incómoda. El baño aunque era muy amplio…la ducha y el lavamanos muy pequeño y el baño parecía una sacando de las películas de terror, tan vacío era. La gente de allí no respeta el horario de las zonas comunes.

Le WOW Hostel est prêt de transport en commun, plusieurs restaurants et magasins. Tout est faisable à pied. L'endroit est propre, tranquille et les responsables sont toujours disponible.

Mi amiga del trabajo y yo somos profesoras brasileñas y tuvimos nuestra primera experiencia alojándonos en un albergue. Nos alojamos en una habitación de dos camas con colchones muy suaves, ropa de cama y toallas muy limpias. Tenía aire acondicionado. Lo que más nos gustó fue la seguridad y atención al extranjero, ya que nuestro embarque era de madrugada y teníamos miedo de la hora. El Sr. Jorge y el otro chico fueron geniales con nosotros, llamaron un taxi e incluso nos miraron a través de la ventana del albergue hasta que llegó el taxi para llevarnos al aeropuerto. Ciertamente lo señalo.
