Didn’t stay long enough!
Property was just as described. The hosts thought of everything with attention to details. Shampoos and body wash, neatly rolled towels, bottled water, even pancake mix and a towel heater! Access to the unit was simple. The location was superb! We walked to dinner, bars, coffee. The beds and bed linens were comfy We were so impressed and wished we could stay longer! But we plan to return and stay again in the near future.

Great little getaway
Nice apartment, love the feel with the exposed brick walls. Host very accommodating! Very convenient location with several bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk. Plentiful parking in back, although we had a little trouble finding it in the dark. Would definitely stay again!

The property was in a great location being that it was right downtown Bardstown. The mattress in the 2nd bedroom needs to be replaced. My friend s stayed in that room and the mattress on one side of the bed sank. We made pancakes with the mix provided and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast! Ewe had everything we needed. May want to warn guests that both tubs are high and take a little getting used to in stepping in and out of them. Thank you so much. Loved the interior design of the apartment.

Bourbon trail center point
A great little gem in the center of historic Bardstown. Walking distance to some great eateries and bourbon bars. Equi-distant to Louisville and Lexington. Only drawback, the back stairs entrance is a bit dangerous, especially in rain. (Avoid if possible and use front entrance). Also no door on 2nd bathroom.

Excellent Location and Bourbon Trail Hub!
We loved this vintage property, very cozy and historic with comfy beds and lots of charm. Great for walking around Bardstown and as a home base for exploring the Bourbon Trail. 2 queen beds comfortably sleeps 2 couples or a small family. Convenient parking though a little tricky to find at first but directions provided will eventually get you there! Note: This is a second floor unit with a non-ADA accessible back staircase that can be steep and dark at night. Not an issue for us but good to know. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, excellent. I would be concerned if the other units were occupied as the walls in this historic building seemed thin. The bedrooms have a door that opens to the front hallway and definitely are not sound proof. For the cost and the location, worth the risk of dealing with potential noise. I do have a concern about the steel staircase up to the unit from the back. The original landing that is still there even though there is a steel plate installed over it has what looks like significant rust. Being a developer, I would have it replaced in the next year or so. Would rent this unit again!

Loved this property. Very cozy and cool 2 bedroom 2 bath apt near downtown Bardstown. Walkable to many nice restaurants. Very nicely renovated property has a trendy feel.

This was a great location. The only downside to the property was no outside sitting area. The weather was really pleasant and it would have been nice to be outside. Otherwise, great place, plenty big for four adults, owner was very responsive when I contacted him/her.

We were delighted with the apartment. The location was convenient to downtown shopping and dining. The space was attractive and comfortable. We slept fitfully on the bed. The hosts were very responsive when we had an easily solved issue. Planning another trip to the same location.

Perfect location!
This property was perfect for what we wanted for our 1 night stay in Bardstown while touring the local bourbon distilleries. There was such easy access to downtown, which was so enjoyable for our night. The property was very clean, and also clearly very old which was cool in itself. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Location Location Location!!
The property was just as described, pictures and all. It was the perfect location for walking to all of the cute little shops and restaurants. The only thing we might recommend would be 2 additional barstools. We enjoy playing games before calling it a day but there’s no real area to sit in the kitchen or living area for 4 people. Regardless, the place was adorable with a ton of character. We would definitely stay here on a return visit.

Second bedroom has no privacy
The apartment was clean. Of the six doors in the apartment only 2 are adequate. Both bedrooms have doors that open to a common hallway/staircase. the hardware on these doors is sketchy at best. The second bedroom door is a slider when closed has a 2" gap that anyone sitting on the couch in the living room can look directly onto the bed. This is a very old building with floors that creak and pop. If you get up at night to use the bathroom everyone in the building hears every step. The common bathroom off the kitchen has another slider door that is difficult to open and close and tends to jam. We will not be coming back.

Nowhere in our instructions did it tell us to park in the back of the property. We tried to enter from street level. We were not told to use the door marked Carriage view. The code we were given was for the upper floor entry, so of course it didn't work. We weren't given a code for the ground floor door. I had to call the owner, and was told "That should have bee included in your directions".No doubt!

An absolutely AMAZING place to stay if you are in Bardstown! It has absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable, home-like stay. The location is right in the middle of everything downtown, and the host are responsive and wonderful to work with. This location is definitely being favorited for a future visit!

Rustic in a Perfect Location
This is a very nice quaint and rustic apartment in the perfect location. It was very clean and comfortable and has all the stuff you need for a comfortable stay. It’s a bit quirky in layout and lacks a great view of anything but if you want to experience the downtown life of Bardstown (which is wonderful) this is a great place to be. Recommended.

It was a little quircky but you can tell it's an old building, like the hallway doors opened into the bedrooms when you enter from the outside downstairs....however, the rooms were spacious and it had everything we needed for a few days in KY with family! Nicely remodeled too!

My husband and I and another couple stayed a few days to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. Love this little place because it’s cozy and quirky. It is also close to bars, restaurants and shopping. Had a bit of trouble with the key pad on the back door but was told that a new one was being ordered. It was our second time renting this property.
