Bijzonder mooi ingericht hotel, prima ligging, zeer rustig en verzorgd ontbijt op de kamer. De check in was wel onpersoonlijk: je krijgt een code om binnen te geraken. Er was niemand aan de receptie waar je iets aan kon vragen. Voor ons was dit geen probleem. Wel goed om weten dat het kan gebeuren.

Der Aufenthalt war nicht ganz so gut. Die Dusche war nicht in Ordnung. Das Wasser lief nicht ab, so dass man im Wasser stand. Die Klimaanlage im oberen Schlafbereich war kaputt, so dass es zum Schlafen sehr unangenehm warm wurde. Bei Ankunft war die Klimaanlage ausgelaufen, so dass der Boden im Schlafbereich komplett und das Bett zum Teil nass waren. Die Dachterrasse war wegen Bauarbeiten nicht nutzbar. Das Personal war bemüht, hat jedoch an defekter Klimaanlage und Dusche nichts geändert. Es gab weder eine Entschuldigung noch irgendein Entgegenkommen. Die nicht nutzbare Dachterrasse wurde nirgends erwähnt.

A charming B&B set in the old city of Bari but on the borders of the new city which is a fabulous retail centre. The old city is fascinating with incredible ancient architecture and little alleyways that are filled with lots of small bars and independent restaurants. Palazzo Calo has a charming receptionist who couldn’t be more helpful, a large roof terrace and a home made very Italian breakfast. The room was well presented with a kitchenette with basic cooking utensils. What is there not to like.

Staff is very helpful but not available all the time. They are there in the morning and evening for a few hours and closed in the afternoon and night. We were given clear instructions through whts app for check-in on key pad and access to room key card. It was a small hassle walking with luggage bags and finding the place late evening as the taxi did not drop at the hotel as it was in no entry zone. Good thing they have an elevator and spacious rooms so its easy for bags. I really loved the location and wanted to book it for another day a week later for our return back to airport but unfortunately had run out of hot water on first day during our shower & ended up taking cold showers, took really quick showers next day to save hot water. Also, on both days, we were woken up by constant loud construction sounds, it was loud drilling and hammer sounds above our floor and around the area so our sleep was disturbed. If it wasn't for these couple of issues we would gladly book again as the location is fantastic, 5 minutes walking to central shopping and main tourist areas. We decided to wait to rent a car after checking out as their parking was $40 per night and 5 minutes away. Like other reviews said I agree they do need more light in the room. Maybe a table lamp would do. Book it for the nice staff and convenient location. Its the best location to stay in town. Can't go wrong with that.

This hotel is very central within the pedestrian area. All staff really friendly and helpful - highly recommend for a visit to Bari. (Bring some teabags though - none in room !)

Extremely nice location in the heart of old town, very clean, newly renovated room, friendly staff. Only issue was to get here on feet with heavy luggage as taxi will drop you about 100 meters away as are not allowed to enter old town

A perfect one night stay in a giant apartment loft style accomodation. The staff here are so excellent and go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic. They even ordered a taxi for us and walked us out to the street. Our apartment would be perfect for a family travelling too. There is an elevator if you have large bags too.

Great location, great free breakfast, clean nice big room that can sleep 4. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who spoke English and made us very feel welcomed. We had our 2 year old and the only thing I did not like was the staircase did not have a banister in the loft but this would only be an issues with a baby and young children.

Belle chambre spacieuse avec un coin cuisine/salon et la chambre en mezzanine. Au sein du quartier historique et à quelques minutes à pieds des magasins, des restaurants. Service agréable et correct. La salle de bain mériterait quelques rénovations, notamment au niveau de la douche et il est dommage que ce type hôtel n’offre même pas à ses clients du shampoing ou des cotons tiges par ex. Le petit déj pourrait aussi être un peu plus varié et proposer des œufs ou des pancakes par ex. Il n’y a rien de chaud et le choix n’est pas faramineux. Par ailleurs, il ne faut pas être sensible à la lumière artificielle car elle est assez présente (la clim, lumière escalier, etc).

The room is clean and well kept. Despite the busy area, there are no noises coming through. An extra pillow would have useful as they are quite flat. We loved the breakfast and the friendly staff.

Cet hôtel est très confortable, bien situé dans la vieille ville. Le personnel est charmant, le petit déjeuner excellent. Nous avons juste regretté l'absence d'une bouilloire ou machine à café que nous trouvons généralement dans les établissements de ce standing.
