'The Langley Castle hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff could not be more accommodating, friendly and helpful. It's been a long time since we experienced such great service and felt so welcomed! We were offered help with our bags, which given the narrow and winding stairs, would be a good option for anyone with a heavy or large suitcase. I believe there were over 20 winding stairs (and not always a hand rail), so if one has any climbing difficulties, be aware of this. Our suite was...

'Great hotel. The location is fantastic, the staff go above and beyond. A favourite spot for a getaway with opportunity to walk, visit High Force waterfall, have a drink in the cosy bar and dine in the elegant dining room. Breakfast was great - the food is obviously local and fresh.'

'Although it was just a one night stay for me I received a very warm welcome, shown to my room and all staff; reception, bar and restaurant were first class in their roles. Room was clean and tidy and bed very comfy. Good selection of food and cooked breakfast to order.'
