Grove Cottages bestaat uit twee vakantiewoningen, The Swallows (ref HRRA), een omgebouwde schuur en Oak Tree Cottage (ref HMMY).

    Het nabijgelegen Instow is een ongerept dorp aan zee met een groot zandstrand en duinen, vissershuisjes, dorpswinkels en een goede selectie van pubs en restaurants. Een fantastische locatie die voor elk wat wils heeft, het gebied is een must voor watersporters, zeilliefhebbers en vissers. Wandelaars en fietsers kunnen genieten van de beroemde Tarka Trail. Noord-Devon heeft prachtige stranden en is goed gepositioneerd voor bezoeken aan Exmoor, Dartmoor en Noord-Cornwall. Ontdek bij Croyde en Woolacombe enkele van de beste en schoonste surfstranden van het land, evenals vele kleinere baaien en baaien. Exmoor en het South West Coastal Path liggen in de buurt en er zijn NT-accommodaties in Arlington en Knighthayes. Winkels ½ mijl, pub, strand en restaurants ongeveer ¼ mijl.

Eigendom is niet geschikt voor rolstoelgebruikers en personen met beperkte mobiliteit, want parkeren is 50 meter van het huis en het pad is grind. Kan geboekt worden met HRRA om te slapen 6. De wieg is een reiswieg. Deze accommodatie heeft een rookverbod.

We absolutely love OakTree cottage.

We absolutely love OakTree cottage. We have gone twice a year for the last three years. It is set at the back of the host’s property but you could be a mile from anywhere. The private gravel path takes you down to a beautifully set single storey cottage. Very comfortable and the hosts are awesome (there if you need them but never intrusive).

Really excellent stay in oak tree cottage.

Really excellent stay in oak tree cottage.It was perfectly set up for our family of dogs and a small person. The totally enclosed garden gave us peace of mind that we were secure and all could roam. The cottage had great touches with DVD’s for when the weather was less than perfect. We hope to return soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at oak tree cottage despite the wet weather and were made to feel very welcome. The cottage is private whilst being at the end of the owners property. The children loved walking past the chickens everyday. The cottage is possibly more suited to slightly older children as our 17mth old toddler was quite interested in the stone fireplace. The cottage is beautiful, clean and such a lovely place to come on holiday and relax.

The cottage is beautiful, clean and such a lovely place to come on holiday and relax. There is so much to do in this area with only a short walk to the beach. The owners Nic and Dave are so friendly and make you feel at home with a home made cake on arrival and fresh eggs from thier ducks and Chickens.

a stunning little gem, hidden away.

a stunning little gem, hidden away. perfect for a relaxing getaway in a perfect location for walkers or cyclists. the cottage has everything you want or need with extra little touches like a home baked cake on arrival and home farmed eggs form the chicken coup in the basket. the only reason I haven't given it 10 across the board is the spiders in the cottage not that they bothered me or my wife but my son has a phobia so we had to go round and hoover them all away before he would sleep there apart form that it was excellent and would happily recommend and return

The welcome was excellent.

The welcome was excellent. We were greeted by Dave who explained everything whilst showing us around the cottage. Although we parked just off a busy road, the traffic could not be heard. The location was quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent place to use as a base for visiting the surrounding areas. There are some wonderful places to eat with most being within walking distance from the cottage. Nik and Dave are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. They are excellent hosts. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there and strongly recommend others to book it. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Nik and Dave, we will be back.

Very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a great location.

Very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a great location. Easy walking distance to beautiful beach, shops & restaurants, short drive to bigger towns, and, while parts of the beach only allow dogs at certain times of the year, there are numerous dog friendly footpaths (including the Tarka Trail) within easy reach. It’s a lovely cottage, definitely worth a visit and I’m sure that we will be booking again in the future.
