'While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed...

'Loved our overnight stay. This was a lovely tough of luxury from the hot tub and swimming pool to the complimentary mini bar. Would have liked to stay longer.'

'FAB place to stay everything was perfect beautiful clean room and bathroom breakfast was great lots of choice Gina and her husband were the perfect hosts and of course not to forget Norman they lovely dog easy to get to and plenty of parking space enjoyed our stay'

'Lovely stay, beautiful grounds and house. Staff were amazing - so helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Afternoon drinks in the garden were lovely! Room was very comfy and clean. Would recommend.'

'This venue has great potential and the new owner and team obviously have an exciting vision for the future. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was very tasty. Attention to detail in the room could have been better. Carpet needed hoovering (and replacing) the bed hadn’t been made and although this was remedied, it looked thrown together. The loo seat was a bit ‘mobile’ and there was no hot water in the shower (apparently the boiler had tripped out)....
