'This is an unique place, an old house with many stairs, so be warned. Walls full of paintings and drawings, many different kind of furniture and all together with a most charming athmosphere. As charming as the people working there. '

'The staff at Santa Maria Foris were very friendly and welcoming, especially the ‘front of house’ lady. The room was of a very good size, quiet and cool (when outside it was 30+C). Nice shady and quiet gardens. Good WiFi, free coffee, and a garage for secure off-street parking. The hotel is very well located for all of the main historical sites, good restaurants and the main market. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed Ravenna. Thank you!'

'Exceptionally spacious room for families is a few floors up, but worth the effort of climbing stairs. The two large rooms share a bathroom, but also include a dining table with chairs and plenty of seating and lounging spaces to feel right at home. Location is superb for mosaic exploration and the staff was kind to let us in a bit earlier than anticipated. Airport and cruise port transfers were timely and reasonably priced. Breakfast and coffee was delicious and very convenient. If we are able...

'Clean, cute room. Staff very communicative (in English) before and during our stay! Breakfast was a nice Italian breakfast - no eggs, bacon, sausage. Hotel is in a good location for walking to sites, restaurants, supermarket and train station (for fit individuals).'

'水道管の修理で、しばらく水回りが使えませんでしたが、スタッフのフォローは、良かったです。 あと、クルーズ用に、無料のシャトルバスがあるのは、とてもいいです。 同じクルーズ船の宿泊者は、シャトルバスのことを知らなかったので、案内してあげた方がいいと思いました。ラベンナは、タクシーか、少ないようですので、自分で頼むのが大変と聞きました。'

'Het verblijf was op zich prima. Fijn bed en fijne kussens. De badkamer was een beetje verouderd. Wel schoon, maar de douchecabine was een uitdaging, zeker voor mijn man van 1.90. Het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en meedenkend.'

'It is a nice and clean little hotel in the center of Ravenna. Very close to everywhere you want to be. Everybody there was very friendly and helpful. It is not chic but neat and the price is right! The breakfast was a little limited (not the selection that you might expect in big hotel), but worked perfectly fine. The bed was perfectly comfortable. The temperature in the room was good. All and all I had a very good experience staying there!'

'The host, Giovanni, was very accommodating, gave us great local restaurant recommendations and helped with cruise terminal arrangements. Centrally located for easy walking to beautiful Ravenna. The B&B has a lovely treed garden to enjoy a morning cappuccino or an evening Prosecco. Next to a wooded city park with the best pizza spot since Napoli.'

'Posizione molto comoda, vicinissimo al centro della città. La signora Giuseppina ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni per accedere, per cui la mancanza di una reception non si è proprio sentita. La stanza era moderna e molto pulita. Molto apprezzata la bottiglietta di vino locale e l'acqua nel frigorifero. Consigliatissimo'
