Mill Lane Cottage, een mooi huisje op het prachtige platteland, 4 mijl van Bath.

Mill Lane cottage is een gelijkvloerse vrijstaande woning met een omheinde privétuin op het zuiden met een groot zonneterras en tuinmeubilair, geniet van de spectaculaire zonsondergang boven het huisje en een adembenemend uitzicht op het omliggende platteland.

Dit vakantiehuis ligt op een deel van onze familieboerderij en is gebouwd in 2016, het is schoon en modern met een landelijke twist. Uitgeschakeld straat parkeren voor twee auto's.

Het huisje heeft een mooie tweepersoonsslaapkamer met de optie van een kleine tweepersoons slaapbank in de woonkamer. Alle beddengoed en handdoeken zijn aanwezig. Een reiswieg en kinderstoel kunnen op verzoek worden verstrekt.

De ruime open keuken / woonkamer is volledig uitgerust met alle moderne gemakken, een vaatwasser, wasmachine, inductie kookplaat, oven, magnetron, waterkoker en broodrooster. De eettafel biedt plaats aan 4 personen en geniet van het uitzicht op het platteland vanuit de moderne ontbijtbar.

Ontspan in de woonkamer met een 42-inch flatscreen-tv, dvd-speler en gratis WiFi. De moderne badkamer heeft een douche boven het bad, wastafel en toilet. Volledige centrale verwarming op gas.

De levendige stad Bath ligt op slechts een klein eindje rijden (ongeveer 15 minuten) en is gemakkelijk bereikbaar via het Odd Down Park and Ride (altijd 5 minuten rijden). Bath heeft een scala aan fantastische eetgelegenheden en veel bezienswaardigheden en plaatsen om te bezoeken.

Breng uw laarzen mee en verken het prachtige omliggende landschap met tal van wandelingen vanuit het huisje, bezoek onze lokale pub op slechts 1,5 km afstand in het dorp Priston, waar fantastisch eten wordt geserveerd.

Priston Mill, de altijd populaire trouwlocatie, ligt op een korte wandeling over het veld of een korte (5min) taxirit. Het maken van dit huisje de perfecte en handige plek om te verblijven als u hier een functie bijwoont.

We hebben ook een studio-appartement op de boerderij The Den Mill Lane, Inglesbatch, Bath perfect als u een bruiloft of familie bent op zoek naar een grotere accommodatie. Wij accepteren 1 nacht verblijf in de Den maar een minimum van 2 nachten in de cottage leeftijd.

Set on a working farm.

Set in a charming, isolated country hamlet on a farm. Access to the property is down long, narrow roads, which are charming, but hair-raising at times. Farm equipment is stored behind and to the side of the property. We found the location to be quiet during our stay. The location is good for those who enjoy long country walks. The hamlet is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Cozy countryside cottage

We loved staying at the Cottage on Mill Lane! The space is so comfortable for 2 people, including couches, TV, dinner table, large bathroom and a kitchen with everything you'd need. Close enough to town to visit and far enough away to feel at peace. Lovely stay, thank you!

Great accommodation in lovely location

The accommodation is situated on a farm. It is relatively modern in terms of layout and furnishings, all set out to a good standard. The 'gite' is spacious with well fitted out kitchen and bathroom. There is a washing machine as well as dishwasher which were welcome items in the kitchen. There is a well set-out private garden and patio. You are in a very rural environment, but the park n ride for Bath city centre is only about 2 miles away. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming as well. All good and highly recommended.

It was okay

Starting off with the good points, the place is well located just outside of Bath but near enough to the park and ride to get into the city quickly. It is rather isolated so finding the property was slightly tricky in the dark but the instructions provided did help. The place was clean and warm on arrival and was a good space for 2 people. The negatives were that it felt like little effort had been put in and that it would only cost a little bit to make the place much nicer (providing coasters, place mats, blankets etc). The bed was also not particularly comfortable which I've seen others mention. Also it would be nice if toiletries like shower gel or shampoo were provided (I realise it doesn't say in the advert that these are provided but it's kind of expected for the price per night being over £100 after all fees are included). Also we were only provided with 4 teabags which is a bit tight when we were staying for 3 nights. There were also a large number of spiders that were in the property on arrival and it seemed like these could have been removed in the cleaning process. Finally, we found it a bit cheeky to pay a cleaning fee and then still be asked to strip the beds and put the bedding in the washing machine! Overall, the place is fine but not worthy of 5* with what is provided and when the price per night is taken into consideration.

Little Bit of Peace

The place was hard to find but if we had followed the instruction to the letter we would have found it sooner. It was lovely to be surrounded by animals in a peaceful and quiet environment. The property was ideal for us. So near to Bath yet so far away from the bustle.

Perfect location for Priston Mill events

Property is exactly as it appears and as described. Check in was very simple. I'm not familiar with the area, and there's a lot of unmarked lanes; property owner gives clear directions that you should follow closely. Kitchen was fully equipped; bathing products guest will supply (which may have been clearly stated but I missed it if so). There is a large grocery store not more than 10 min away. I think it would be difficult to stay here without a car (in case you're coming to an event at Priston Mill). Area was quiet; stay was restful. Thank you!

Bring your shampoo!

Very surprised that the basics were not supplied. No shampoo, conditioner or bath gel. One bath towel and one hand towel. One paper towel on the roll in the kitchen. While it is a self service accommodation, generally kitchen basics such as salt, pepper and cooking oil are supplied. The double bed is not the most comfortable but will suffice. The location is difficult to find by cab, and not well supplied by taxi so you would be advised to have a car. The location is great if you want to get away from it all but still be within 15 minutes of Bath. Just pack your shampoo. And salt.

Good parking, good communication regarding the property. The property was spacious enough with all mod cons. Double bed could have been a king size and better quality. Fan could have been useful given the conditions i the heatwave, however we did not ask for one. Smell of the farm was initially a concern for a day or so but this was not consistent throughout the stay. Nice quiet area down narriw rural lanes, shirt walks across fields, good links to Bath. Good overall.

Great location for Bath in particular, as well as Bristol and surrounding areas. Good communication with host and grateful for use of travel cot and high chair. Good space and amenities. Unfortunately our stay coincided with a very hot heat wave and no fan available so we needed to make arrangements to bring our own, but we were advised of this prior to arrival which was helpful for planning.
