This is a non smoking facility but the room we were given smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, the smoke alarm was removed from the ceiling. We alerted the front desk and was told he would alert the manager to the missing smoke alarm. Carpets were sticky and moist, and the shower head was approximately 3 inches wide and the sink was dirty. However, the worst aspect to our stay was one of the staff members working at the hotel verbally and physically threatened me in the hallway for not having shoes on the morning of 03/29/26. The employee threatened to "whip his ass!". We attempted to file a complaint with the front desk and was handed a card for the general manager, but the phone number lead us back to the front desk with no resolution or care. The front desk clerk didnt even ask what was wrong or what the complaint involved. There is no care from the staff or management at this facility. This is unacceptable and unprofessional for management and staff to behave this way.
