Always restful and accommodating stay with Janice at the Stockade. The bathroom in the Rex Room has been updated and is fabulous! The breakfast was exceptional!

Nice place with friendly staff, the breakfast is delicious and service is great. Very close to most of Baton Rouge to go places. I highly recommend this place.

Came in for the LSUvsArkansas game. Miss Janice was great. Opened the door for us when we were coming in to check in. Breakfast Sunday morning was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

From arrival the grounds were well kept and inviting. The house looked amazing. We met Janice when we entered. She showed us to our room and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was amazing. The entire experience was first rate. Thank you Janice for all you did for us.

The Stockade is a destination on its own! Charming, lovely setting, with beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms. Janice's Southern breakfasts are splendid! Friendly, super kind staff. I felt right at home.

A Peaceful Comfortable Oasis in Baton Rouge
A beautiful heritage home, well-appointed with period furniture and lush, forested grounds with very easy access to arterial routes to LSU and downtown. The Rex Room, the only one on the main floor, is serene and has direct access to a nice patio surrounded by forest. The breakfasts were simple but nutritious. Our hostess, Janice, was very friendly, informative and gracious. All in all a very satisfying stay in Baton Rouge.

The home is beautiful, our room was very large and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and obviously takes pride in sharing her home with others. Breakfast was quite good.

The grounds were beautiful! You are secluded by tree's and all the plants are so calming. Janice and her husband are extremely nice! She is so helpful with information about the area and makes you feel welcomed. The bed was AMAZING! I laid on it and didn't want to move. Everything was very clean and beautiful inside. I stayed with my daughter and we both felt safe and comfortable.

Nice stay
The B&B was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great, especially Janice’s French toast. Very welcoming and laid back. Located very conveniently in an area if you plan on shopping and eating out at restaurants.

When in Baton Rouge we always stay here. The owner - Janice and staff are excellent and very accommodating. The art and furnishings are like being at a museum - I can spend hours just looking at the eclectic collections. The breakfasts are the best of any B&B's we have had. The location is perfect . We highly recommend you visiting their website.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft bei sehr netten Gastgebern! Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück war inbegriffen. Man konnte sich jederzeit kostenlos Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank holen,sogar Wein!

Our anniversary stay.
We stayed there a couple of nights for our anniversary. Overall a very positive experience. The innkeeper Janet was very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The hot, cooked to order breakfast was fantastic. We couldn't recommend it more. Stay here and you'll be glad you did. This is what bed and breakfast's are supposed to be. Roger and Lindy Canton, Ga.
