Nice but not worth the price
Spacious, comfortable yurt steps away from the beach as advertised. Views were pretty. Kitchen and bathroom had all we needed. Hot tub was clean and hot and functional, though the lid contraption was heavy and tie down straps were a bit hard to manage. Bed sunk in the middle and pillows were hard, but we found softer pillows for the second night. Highway noise was more than I expected, but we could sleep through it. The TV has some kind of problem and paused every 5 seconds till we pushed Play again on both DVDs and streaming. Gave up on watching a movie or TV. I washed dishes in the kitchen twice, and both times the hot water ran out in about 6 minutes. Customer service person took 47 minutes to get back to us, and was in a distant location and did not know the property and could give only general suggestions for things to try with the water. So I just told them nevermind, and we took 5 minute showers just in case. That was frustrating because we kept seeing the property owner, who parked right next to us, who probably would have been able to answer questions. Most of the stuff at the property inside and out is dated and worn, except the bathroom and bedroom, which are nicer. All that said, we had an enjoyable time. I was expecting to be wowed because of the price, which I would love to share with you, but Vacasa flagged and would not allow. With all the additional fees, the total does not match what I expected.

Cutest little yurt right on the bay
A few of us took a quick weekend planning getaway and it was exactly what we needed and this yurt was perfect for us. The hot tub was an exceptional perk, especially in the early morning. The yurt is right on the bay and offers access to take beautiful strolls when the tide is out; keep your eyes open for herons, egrets and other life in the bay! The set up of the yurt was great and we were all comfortable. There were 3 of us and I think 4 would have been a bit crowded, but can still work. I think it should be more clear that the "bathroom" is marked with curtains as opposed to walls. For as small as the kitchen is, we were able to make delicious meals without much fuss or missing certain appliances, etc; it's really well-stocked and thoughtful! We all long for a return to this gem of a spot. :)

The best place to stay is Yurt on the Bay
We love it here. Our second time back to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A quite and peaceful spot where we can relax and enjoy nature together. Big enough for two or three very close friends or family. Husband and I bring a cooler for drinks and stock our food in the fridge. The yurt has everything you need for simple living.

The yurt was great. Loved the bay views and, oh my, the birds were spectacular. On the downside, the DVD player was broken and no one told us the yurt was 50 feet from West Virginia. Finally, there is no beach, just miles of broken rocks.

Internet debacle
Everything was nice except we were never able to get the Internet to work on the television and we called numerous times and finally just gave up.

Overall amazing experience, being able to stay right on the Bay, relax in the hot tub, and walk out to the water made this a great getaway. The yurt itself was very cozy but does need some dusting.

A beautiful getaway
The Yurt on The Bay felt like home the moment we stepped inside. It is comfortably appointed, and well cared for, and has an amazing view of the bay that I cannot recommend strongly enough near sunset. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back in future visits! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Cute Yurt
We had a great time staying here! Although, I felt like I was invading someone's property at first because there were a few cars that were parked by the yurt. The sound of cars going by was a bit louder than I thought and didn't know where it was coming from. Other than that, this place was very cute and cozy!

Barking Dogs! Guns! Racoons!
The yurt is located right on the water and is in a beautiful area. The problem is the canvas walls don't mask any sound. While we realize this going in to the rental it accentuates the late night barking dogs. The 6am shotguns and the midnight racoon fights. Also a quick peak behind the canvas layers revealed a massive amount of mold which reaked havoc on our allergies.

The yurt is tucked within a small subdivision that gives it privacy and an incredible view of the bay. The inside is fixed up very sweetly with all the amenities needed.

The search for a tranquil went awkward.......
The yurt is in a wonderful location with a fabulous view of the bay and birds galore, and has tons of potential. The yurt itself is very cozy. However, the listing did not depict the house on the same property which appeared to be the owners of the yurt. Each evening, very early, when we tried to enjoy the front deck with the bay view, in the outbuilding/garage next door (with the door open the entire time) someone turned on bright florescent lights and rummaged around briefly, but lights were left on until we were back in the yurt. It made us feel as though we were teenagers and the evening was to come to a close. Also, while we were eating breakfast, through our window at the kitchen table, we could see a woman peering in from the roof top/balcony from the same house - it was a door off of the bedroom and she stared in while smoking. We also had limited sleep because of the loud traffic noise from HWY 101 at night and then in the mornings guns shots went on and on. The the first morning, I thought there was an active shooter and as I laid in bed and I thought of an exit plan. After we got up, we looked it up online and found there is a local gun range. We will not be back.

Awesome view of the bay and the place was secluded.
We really enjoyed the hot tub and firepit. The shower and water pressure was better than at home. It is close to town if you need anything but secluded enough that you enjoyed the quiet. My only complaint was that one of the days there were people moving things to the shed all day and we felt like it interrupted our outside time. Also for the price of each night, the outside of the yurt was not kept up...mold and the windows were not clean. All this said, we will definitely come back.

Fun Getaway/Beautiful View
We had a great time. The Yurt has all the amenities you need for a fun weekend. It's close to Tillamook and we enjoyed Cape Lookout and exploring the Wilson River. The Yurt is located on the Tillamook Bay and has a great view and is nice place to unwind and BBQ.

Special retreat on the bay
Amazing! I have never stayed in a yurt before and it far exceeded my expectations. The interior was exactly as pictured, well-kept and squeaky clean (ants were a non-issue for me). It did get chilly at night but the extra blankets were helpful. The views of the bay were spectacular. I was lucky to have good weather in late April and enjoyed taking peaceful walks along the bay and watching the sunset. My only disappointments are that the TV did not seem to work and communicating with Vacasa to change my reservation was difficult. I would absolutely stay again, however. Book early.

We absolutely love the yurt - this was our third stay. That said, I was hoping to see some updates. The decor is quite worn. It could also use a thorough cleaning, especially the spider webs on the ceiling.

Ants
We checked in at 4pm. Upon arrival we noticed that the yurt was kept kinda cold. We turned up the temp and 9pm we noticed a few ants crawling around. By the next morning it was a full on infestation of ants. They were all over the floor on the counters and in the sink. I called Vacasa and they sent someone out to deal with it. When we returned after a day in town to find that most of the ants had been dealt with. There were still ants crawling around the floor and the sink was covered in dead ants. Several spiders were also killed. It didn’t appear that anyone had been in the yurt in some time. Overall it was an ok time. We won’t be staying at this location again.

There are so many little personal touches, it’s so cozy, and you forget that you are in a giant tent. We did have some unexpected visitors, ANTS. We didn’t leave food out, but we found them crawling on our water bottles and all over the kitchen counter and couch area. Thankfully there was ant spray to use and we were able to clean out the visitors before each meal. We are avid campers so it wasn’t a turn off from the yurt. The hot tub great in the evenings after using our SUP in the bay. We really enjoyed our stay!

The Yurt Life
The Yurt on the Bay was wonderful!! The view is absolutely breathtaking and the accommodations were perfect. We loved the yurt, and would highly recommend it. We were worried that it would be too cold as it was 32 in the house when we arrived but the heater was perfect and kept the place nice and warm. We absolutely loved it here. The only downfall was the hot tub was not chemically balanced and we were not able to use it. We tried the first night but not after. The yurt has all the special touches that make it unique. Loved the bathrobes, heated towel rack, and lots of magazines and guides on the area. Thank you so much! We will be back.

Was as expected, would recommend.
Clean and we'll cared for, super nice for a yurt. View is beautiful. We used the hot tub and it was well cared for (an easy lift remover might make it last longer and easier to remove). Fire pit was a great size as is the yard space. Would recomend along with the following fyis...I would make sure that everyone realizes that the bathroom has a curtain, not a door and no ceiling. Not horrible but should be aware of. It was very cold (not typical temps for the area) but the gas fireplace was unable to keep it quite warm enough with the below freezing temps. A table of some kind in the bathroom would be nice as the counter space is not there. More seating would also be nice, the addition of a couple of chairs in the living are would be nice.

Enjoyed a two night stay in the Yurt on the Bay. Very neat and clean. Kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the front porch - sunsets, changing tide, and the birds. The Yurt is walking distance to a reserve, so we enjoyed walking there as well. Would recommend this rental.

Peaceful and adorable.
Our stay at this Yurt was everything we were expecting. It was our first time staying in a Yurt, so it was really fun staying in a different place. It was super stormy the whole weekend, but it just made the Yurt even more cozy. The hot tub was probably one of our favorite things about the place. And the DVD selection was surprisingly really good and ranging from old classics, to recent modern movies. We definitely plan on coming back to this little gem.

Super cozy and right on the bay.

Perfect, Peaceful, and Pup approved
Amazing views, comfortable bed, spacious yurt with so many luxeries we felt like we were in a 5 star room. Plenty of yard for the dogs to run, not to mention the water access - thank goodness for the hose and sprayer. Morning coffee at the giant fire pit was so peaceful, then late night Smores in the same spot! Top it off with a soak under the stars in the hot tub...heaven. So close to everything, yet we felt like we were alone. Very quiet and private with great natural screening and little road noise in the morning. We will be back. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Lovely setting
This is a great for a brief getaway. The yurt was charming. The only thing that is a little off-putting is that it is a single room with a privacy-free toilet -- I ended sending my husband out of the house a few times :). But being able to look up at the stars through the window overhead while you're in bed was pretty great. Ditto on being in the hot tub watching the sunset.

Love this place!
This is such a cute and wonderful getaway! This is the 2nd time I have been here, and I love it! So peaceful and stress free! The only downfall is not a great place for walking, but the drive to the beach is not too bad! I will definitely be back!

Cute and great view
All in all a very nice place to stay. Had a storm and it sounded like the roof was gonna fly off and walls shook like crazy and a few drips of water from dome but I was impressed how sturdy it really was and ended up being a fun exciting night. The yurt by the bay is super cute and cozy and mostly private. Very clean and has everything you need for a great stay. We would recommend this unique place.

Perfect location
The space was exactly what we were looking for. We decided to have a quiet honeymoon on the coast and the Yurt was exactly what we were wanting. It was peaceful, cozy, and gorgeous. We felt as if we were all alone and all you could see from the front door was the ocean. Hot tub was a great bonus for us! It was close enough to anything you could want as well. We will be back for sure. Amazing space.

Wonderful place!
We loved our stay here! The yurt is adorable, has everything you need, the view is incredible and the hot tub wonderful. It was private and peaceful. We saw tons of bald eagles, herons and baby woodpeckers. My only criticism is that the sofa bed is pretty uncomfortable and really could use a new mattress. Our kids slept on it but I tried it and ouch! But overall, we loved it and the kids did not want to leave! We hope to come back soon.
