'This property was very suitable for two couples. Beds were comfortable, place was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t do any cooking there but the kitchen appeared to be supplied with sufficient cookwear and flatwear. Property manager was very good at answering our inquiries.'

'This property in Rothesay was great for our two families.The upstairs was like a private suite for my daughter, son in law and their two children. The hot tub was lovely to have.Our hosts Alia and Chuck were very helpful. They provided a sleeping cot and a high chair for our daughter's baby.We enjoyed our stay very much. The neighbourhood was private and close to water.'

'The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again.'

'Parking is limited, especially during weekdays 8-5, but there is public parking nearby (unknown cost, we were out and about). The harbor view is off a fire escape, quirky and fun; ferries run every 15 minutes and sometimes you get a larger ship. There is a Salvation Army nearby; I'll leave it at that. Great location as a hub for things to do in and around Halifax. '

'We loved staying here. It met all our needs and was very clean. We would definitely stay here again. It was close to all the things we wanted to do in Cape Breton.'

'Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay.'

'When we arrived there was construction happening next door with loud equipment and blowing dust clouds. This left outdoor areas unusable and very dirty. The garbage bins out front smelled like rotting fish and were crawling with maggots. Beware of very steep downward driveway. We asked if early check in was possible - which they accommodated but at first said no so we drove around until 4 because we didn’t see the updated message - but I think that left some areas neglected (e.g., hair in...

'It was a quiet area close to Halifax. We had an easy time navigating to where we wanted to get every day. The shower was slippery and could use a mat or non slip grips. '
