One of four upper-level queen suites located at the six unit Bayfield Guest House in the heart of downtown Bayfield. These suite style rooms are designed for couples and solo travelers looking for a relaxing getaway to Bayfield. The Huron Suite is a Queen suite with a full private bathroom and a jacuzzi tub. Corner suite facing the historic Rittenhouse Inn and Lake Superior views over Rittenhouse Ave. All linens and towels provided.

The Bayfield Guest House is a downtown Bayfield property that houses six individual rental units. Parking is free onstreet parking.

The Huron, Ontario, Michigan, and Erie Suites are hotel style suites designed for groups of two or solo travelers looking for a refreshing, quiet getaway. All located on the second floor, each of these suites has a comfortable queen bed, a private tub, a 3/4 bathroom, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and standard drip coffe maker. All linens and towels provided (beach towels not included).


The Superior Suite has been curated with a couple of friends or a young family in mind. Located on the first floor, with a private entrance, the Superior Suite can sleep up to four guests. This suite has a private queen bedroom with a fold out single sleeper chair, a double sleeper sofa, a 3/4 bathroom, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and standard drip coffe maker. All linens and towels provided (beach towels not included).

The South Shore Condo is your small group's perfect home-base during your Bayfield vacation. Sleeping up to 5, this condo has two private bedrooms (one queen bedroom and one double twin bedroom), a double sleeper sofa, a high-bar table, small kitchen with all the essentials, and a 3/4 bathroom with a tiled shower. All linens and towels provided (beach towels not included).

Guests staying in the Huron Suite will have access to their private queen suite, a shared patio space, and shared hallways/stairwells.

The Bayfield Guest House is located in the heart of downtown Bayfield nearby restaurants, art galleries, jewelery stores, ice cream shops, book stores, and more! The property is as described on VRBO.We came here for our honeymoon. I reached out ahead of time to see if they could put some champagne in the room upon arrival. They said they already planned on doing that. When we got there, there wasn't any. That was unfortunate. The town is dead quiet at night, we heard noises in the area and went exploring. At about 11pm we watched foxes play in the street. We were up late and up early, the mattress hurt our back and the lack of curtains made the room way too bright to sleep in past 6am for us. Pros: Clean, aesthetically pleasing, linens smelled great, cold AC, within walking distance to shops.Cons: Terrible mattress way too firm, no curtains it gets very bright very early, water pressure isn't the best

I was very happy with the property. It was very close to shopping and the harbor. There initially was a problem with the air conditioner but that was solved within a couple of hours. I would definitely stay here again. I was always able to get in touch with someone at the office prior to and during my stay.

It was inviting and clean with nice touches. Biggest challenge for us was how bright it is in the room at night, and there is nothing you can do about it. We tried to hang a blanked on one window and a towel on the other but with limited success. Bring an eye mask if you need darkness to sleep. Also the mattress sinks in the middle. We slept badly both nights. But the days were great : )

Very nice and clean. Quiet area. Only downside is the street parking was busy. And there is no AC In the 2nd floor room

Clean, comfortable bed, nice touches specifically incidentals and coffee. A bit small, but worked for us. The staircase to the room was navigable, but may be difficult for older adults.

Room was clean and loved the complimentary coffee. Bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the jetted tub. The outside landscape could use some updating with flowers to match the many places surrounding the building. Patio furniture needs to be cleaned as it had some cobwebs in the chairs.

Great location, nice renovation on building itself, but not a positive experience. Window unit A/C was extremely loud, to the point it made quality sleep impossible. Was also surprised that stripping the bed & washing dishes upon departure was a requirement. Room was also very small and cramped for the price.
