'What a wonderful experience. We rolled into Bolsena on a whim in a Friday evening in April. The place we’d booked online was closed! So we found Casa di Agatha online and made a reservation. When we pulled up is was dark and also looked closed, but soon Tiziano pulled up to let us in. The rooms are in a very old and beautifully preserved building. 'Het hotel is enigszins gedateerd. We hadden een van de 2 kamers met balkon en verbleven vlak boven de ingang. De kamer was erg klein wat ook gold voor de badkamer. Wel een koelkastje op de kamer. Op het balkon kon je niet met 2 personen zitten ( veel te smal), er stond ook maar 1 stoel. Het ontbijt en het zwembad waren goed. Een minpunt is de airco. Deze kon slechts centraal geregeld worden en gaat snachts, men zegt om 1.00 uit, maar wij merkten dat de airco al om 00.15 uit ging. Omdat het de...

She could tell me the hotel was closed for winter but she had an other hotel in town called Hotel Platani Bolsena. Il letto purtroppo era basso ma alla fine per una notte è stato comodo. il bagno come detto grande. non abbiamo capito l'asse del wc in un materiale strano tipo gomma. non proprio comodissima. 'Prachtig gelegen. Fantastisch restaurant, met vriendelijk en persoonlijk personeel. Het restaurant heeft een prachtig terras met uitzicht op de wijngaarden. Fijn zwembad. Bijgebouwen liggen vrij ver van het hoofdgebouw en zijn moeilijker te bereiken als je slecht ter been bent.'

'What a gem this place is! We stayed here for one night on our way to Rome and wished we'd stayed longer. It is restful, quiet, and a quintessential Umbrian village. Orvieto is a quick 10-15 minute drive. Room 4 was wonderful, spacious, spectacular view, incredibly comfortable bed and the best air conditioning and shower! on-site breakfast was lovely with tarts and cakes made from scratch by the breakfast hostess. We HIGHLY recommend this place!'

'This hotel is a gem in Orvieto. Its location is excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The boutique property is very clean and classy, and the décor is unexpectedly unique, modern, and beautiful. The room was also very nice. I especially appreciated being able to step in from the street into a quiet, peaceful courtyard — the entrance is understated but classy. The breakfast offered each morning was excellent. I would gladly stay at this hotel again when returning to Orvieto.'
