'Great location overviewing the town and great sea view. The room was what you expect for the price. I had a single room with half on-suite, which means shower in the room, but toilet in the hall. That was good enough for me, but people may want to have more privacy. Room could do with a renovation.
Staff was super friendly and helpfull and the full Scottish breakfast can't be beaten. And the sea view makes it even better.
All in all a great deal for a quaint hotel. I would certainly come...

'The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental.'

10/10 Voortreffelijk
Other guests gave this hotel a 10/10 review so I had high expectations.
What a great experience. The room is not your typical business-like hotel room but decorated as a historic room. It was a large room with comfortable chairs and a large bed.
The owners were lovely, friendly people and cooked us a great, fresh breakfast in the morning.
If you are tired of boring hotels, I recommend you to visit Disblair House
