'Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

'Location'

'Blanket had a brown stain on it and when we told the desk all they did was take off the blanket so we had to call for a replacement. The shower water was hot for about 5 seconds than ran cold.'

'The inn was great it worked perfect for our family. Having 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths is great for 4 people. The owners had great snacks, coffee, Fiji water. Location was perfect close to shops, restaurants and the Gateway theater. We were here for a show that my daughter was in at the theater. I highly recommend the Belport inn'

'The room was very clean and very big. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Staff was very friendly at check-in. The location was very convenient right off the LIE. The area had restaurants, Starbucks, and a Walmart. There was an outdoor patio for grilling and a fire pit. The breakfast in the morning had a good selection -fruit, cereal, baked goods, yogurt and more.'

'Linens and coffee/coffee cups only every other day. Room was cold despite being June and A/C / heat not working. No luggage carts available. Lobby coffee supposed to be up by 7am but it wasn’t.. staff said “we’ll try to get it ready”. Restaurant server rude, food barely edible and expensive.'

'I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. I reserved a non-smoking room, but when I entered, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and other odors that made it unacceptable. The room did not appear to have been maintained as advertised. The common areas also felt uncomfortable. There were individuals loitering in the hallways and stairwells, and the hallways smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The overall environment did not feel clean or family-friendly. 'Nice, cosy hotel, friendly service! Affordable (in comparison to the expensive neighbourhoud). Breakfast was very basic (no seating, only bagels), shared bathrooms and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.'

'We normally stay at another nearby hotel, but the Hyatt offered a competitive price and we were very pleased with the hotel, staff and our room. In the future, I will be booking the Hyatt should room pricing remain competitive'
