'What a great stay we had at The Cochrane House! Our hosts were accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We stayed at the Cochrane House after attending a couple of sporting events in Detroit. It was so nice to come back to a place that was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast arrived at our door the following morning. Coffee just as we like it and homemade biscuits. The sisters that own this home are terrific hosts. 'The staff, (Kathy, Nikeya, Kevin, Ms D in housekeeping, and Gram in maintenance) excelled in ever way possible The room was very clean. There were no items (utensils) available in the kitchen to cook with.'

'I understand that the hotel is remodeling but portable air conditioners in rooms aren't great. The hallways and common areas were very warm. Carpets were dirty in the hall and in the room.....VERY sticky spot in front of the mini fridge. Large bathrooms were a plus but almost fell stepping out of the shower as the floor was SUPER slick when wet. Overall the hotel was quiet which was nice. 'Cannot recommend this hotel enough when you are staying in Detroit. The interior is amazing, staff is friendly and room is super clean. We got a standard room but we still had a huge bathroom and enough space for 2 people. Location is superb.'
