'Lovely ‘simple self-catering’ in the heart of Dartmoor. Great set of appliances to have a nice coffee and brekky in bed! Coffee and non-dairy milk included - thank you Terry :) we really enjoyed our stay and had a super sleep. The hot tub looked inviting but the weather was just a bit too miserable for us to venture out there. Next time!'

'The property was excellent and from the time we arrived everything was clear on how to enter. There was everything we needed including cleaning products and the kitchen was well stocked with what anyone would need. The bungalow was spacious and the area was quiet and clean well kept.
We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the site for families, couples or single travellers.
A great location with a short drive to nearby villages etc'

'Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me.
Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble

'We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. '

'We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised.

'This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK.
This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside.
