'Ik snap de score op de verschillende websites niet, het bijgebouw waar wij een kamer hadden was oud, slecht onderhouden. De kamer stonk, vies tapijt. Het bed een kussens lagen slecht. Vreselijke prijs kwaliteit verhouding in vergelijking met de 10 andere hotels waar we deze vakantie sliepen. Het enige pluspunt was het ontbijt, als je van een zwaar op ontbijt houdt tenminste.'

'it is a charming property which is 250 years old. Everyone is friendly and cheerful and it has a very calm atmosphere. Some of the paintings and decor are exceptional. The road is a little bit noisy. That was probably the biggest negative. But the chairs is comfortable and it’s a very nice environment.'

'The hotel is currently being renovated, so the corridor with the elevator is a construction site. Our room had not yet been renovated and made a dated impression. But all necessary facilities were present and working. Nice and helpful staff, especially the cleaners. Of the 5 hotels during our trip through New England, this was the least good.'

'What a mess. €209 for a night you could better have spend in a barn. Not a normal breakfast (not even tea) and workers started working in a room next to mine at 0800 when I was working. Too expensive, terrible old mess. Check out at 10am also way too early. '
