The building and rooms are much older than I had anticipated which never really bothers me but when I entered the room, the sheets were a dingy color and the pillows looked like someone had laid down on them. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance, which was the only highlight of this trip. When I returned from my dinner, I discovered the toilet wouldn’t flush and at the same time discovered my door would not lock with the bolt. When asked for assistance, the staff also discovered the door wouldn’t lock and told me that I would be safe with the little flip lock at the top of the door
because they would watch on the cameras! At 10:30 at night I was awakened by a public safety announcement that told everyone in the area to lock their doors. Stay inside and turn their lights on. Needless to say I didn’t get any sleep that night. Further, it didn’t look like anything in the room had been wiped down. The microwave was disgusting and greasy even on the outsider! Needless to say, I did not stop there on my way back home and have just finished a wonderful and restful sleep at the quality Inn in Fillmore Utah. Highly recommend them!
