'So convenient for NCL, a short walk from arrivals. Also, less than 5 minute walk to get rental car in the morning. Finally I was able to get a table in the restaurant, have something to eat and write my report from the days work while waiting for a late flight.'

'This was my first time staying at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park but it certainly won't be my last. Lovely hotel, excellent gym / pool / spa facilities, plentiful parking, lovely food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely room with a huge window for lots of natural light. Highly recommended.'

'Fantastic stay. Stayed for a wedding. Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout. Slightly difficult to find our room, but was lovely when we got into it. We struggled to keep the room cool, but we loved the big bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic too. Scenery amazing. Would definitely stay again'

'Property itself inside was clean and tidy - this property is obviously a work in progress and would love and visit again in say 6 months to see how far things have progressed.. rooms themselves are immaculate and definitely underpriced.. do need to look at the entry system for the property as front was not working and the back was erratic.. overall though was very impressed at the facilites on offer and location is superb..'

'It was a lovely place to stay, quite alot of stairs if you struggle with stairs be sure to request a low floor room, I didn't do this but It was my own fault however we were only in and out once but I will deffo stay again it was a lovely place'

Host was very friendly and informative, helped with all my airport access questions. Excellent value for money, and only an 8 minute flat walk away from the airport. Yes some bits are a bit tired, but for the price paid excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again when flying from Newcastle Airport. '

Reception staff were lovely and friendly, engaged in conversation asking about our day. Wished me a Happy Birthday and our room was ready early, so was able to check in a good couple of hours earlier. Room was nice and spacious, clean and we could monitor the air con. 'The hotel is beautifully renovated, stylish and modern. All staff were so friendly and customer focused. Location right on the river and quayside short walk into city centre. The terrace for drinks was probably the area where we were expecting a little more but it was still fantastic. Drinks a little pricey but it was a special occasion so we didn't mind so much.'
