'A very nice property located at the top of Mayday Hills that has lovely gardens for a morning walk around the estate. Room somewhat compact however for a solo, overnight stay it was great. The decor is charming and created a lovely ambience. There was no cooked breakfast available on the Monday, however the continental breakfast was enough. A beautiful morning to enjoy the sun on the deck and loads of friendly magpies singing for their breakfast! '

'We enjoyed the Tudor style decor, complete with armor in the reception area, and felt the extra efforts at making the hotel stylish came at a reasonable price. Staff were very helpful. The executive king bedroom with spa had very nice decor consistent with the theme of the hotel, with a very comfortable king size bed. There was a large two-person spa in a spacious bathroom.
