Welkom bij Heav'nsent

Heav'nsent cottage is gelegen aan de oostkant van Swan Lake in Swanville. Ons huis is gekocht in 2018 met houten vloeren en is 1700 sqft geschikt voor maximaal 8 gasten. 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers (douche en / of bad). Grote keuken met ontbijthoek (landelijke tafel met 4 stoelen en 4 stoelen op aanrechthoogte). Eerste verdieping is open. Het uitzicht op het meer is ongelooflijk met 2 grote ramen op de begane grond. Woongedeelte heeft "This Ends Up" meubels (bank, loveseat en stoel) met bijpassende bijzettafels, koffietafel en fauteuil. Er is ook een open haard op gas op de begane grond. Ons huis is smaakvol ingericht met veel van de manden die Andrea in de loop der jaren heeft gemaakt. DirecTV en WIFI beschikbaar. Drie slaapkamers op de tweede verdieping met grote bedden, waarvan 2 met een prachtig raam met uitzicht op het meer. We bieden ook 2 queen size luchtbedden. Een wasmachine en droger bevindt zich in de kelder die, hoewel niet klaar is, directe toegang tot het meer en een terras met een tafel en 4 stoelen heeft. Het dek is ruim met een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en heeft een zithoek, eethoek en gas grill. We bouwen momenteel een vuurplaats op het terrein. Genoeg gras om tuinspellen te spelen en een mooie zijtuin naast de garage om een tent op te zetten. 100 'van prive-lakefront met dock. Kano en 2 kajaks voorzien en u bent van harte welkom om ook uw eigen mee te nemen. Geniet van het op een na grootste meer in Waldo County en prachtige zonsondergangen! Weids uitzicht op de westkant. Geweldig vissen !! Waarnemingen van dieren in het wild zijn er in overvloed met Eagles, Loons, eenden per dag.

July 2025 family visit

Our family loved the house and location. We had been in it a few years before for a couple of hours when another family member rented it. We grew up in the area, graduated from Searsport High and now just come back for summer visits. We own rental properties ourselves so appreciate how well appointed this property is and how easy everything in the process works. The neighbors do have a large dog that could potentially be a problem when you bring your own pets and small children. However, the owners were understanding of our situation and we all made it work. They kept their dog inside when we were out. We will definitely keep this house on our “yes” list

Fantastic place!!

This was my second time staying here. This time with my husband and last year with some friends. I cannot say enough positive things about this place! Location is to die for!! Great stay, clean, safe, dog friendly, great location, easy to get everywhere on day trips. Yet just outside of dealing with the crowds. The views of Swan lake are amazing. All you need at the house. The Darby had best lobster rolls also the Hoot restaurant a must go. Would stay again

Wir haben den Blick und die Nähe zum See genossen! Wir waren froh über die Kajas und das Kanu und auch über das Campfire. Das Haus ist gross und hat alles was man braucht. Es ist etwas altmodisch und man merkt dass viele Hunde ihren Urlaub dort verbracht haben

Amazing location

Andrea’s house was amazing. My wife said she wanted to stay forever when she first walked in! The view of the lake again….amazing! The house was roomy and clean! We traveled to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The trip was a tad long (about 1 hr to both places), but worth the drive to get away from the hustle and bustle and to enjoy the atmosphere at the house! Andrea was easy to communicate with and to work with! She helped us add another night to our stay! If ever in Maine again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! John L and family.

Unplugged lakeside dog-friendly retreat

My friend and I have been staying on lakes in Maine for a few years. I’m from the northern coast of Massachusetts where the biting flies (greenheads) are so intense I have to get away. This year we decided to bring our dogs. It was a perfect relaxing trip. We started every day by going down to the Belfast Rail Trail and putting in about 5 miles to tire the dogs out. We both brought our paddleboards and spent the rest of the day swimming, paddling, lounging, and doing it all again. The kitchen was the best outfitted of anywhere I’ve stayed. The one meal we didn’t cook we brought in from Young’s, which was fantastic and more affordable than at home. The sun bakes in the windows in the afternoon so we quickly learned to pull the shades and put the A/C on 74 to keep it from getting too hot. We only saw glimpses of the dog next door, so he was not an issue at all. Andrea had absolutely thought of and provided everything. While we left the house clean, the check out process was so easy. I’ve stayed other places that required me to deep clean before I left, and I appreciated not having to stress about that. We even had Roku and watched movies at night. Other places I’ve stayed have barely had a working TV. The lake is clean, and there are just a few jetskis during the week, and it is otherwise quite quiet. Great stay, great host, great location. I’d like to go back next week, and next year.

Start your Maine Adventure Here!

Andrea's house was in a perfect location for transversing mid coast Maine. Situated at the end of a dirt road, overlooking beautiful Swan Lake, the views were outstanding! There was plenty of room for the whole family, including an expansive deck with many different seating options. Everything you will need for an enjoyable vacation, is at this house, including floaties to soak up the rays while lounging on the lake. Don't worry about the German Shepherd(Bruno)next door, he comes over to play...it's just like having another family member around! Will not hesitate to book this house again, for our next Maine adventure!

Perfect Friends Reunion!

Beautiful cottage with amazing views and in a great location. Our childhood friend just retired to Swanville, and we got to stay 5 minutes away from her. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep, and the a/c worked great in the downstairs and the master bedroom. Luckily we brought fans because the weather was hot for September, and we read in another review that there were no ceiling fans. Lake water was clean and refreshing. Kayaking was great! Fire pit is a great amenity. Loons were magical, and we also enjoyed the daily visits from the hummingbirds. Enjoyed Belfast, and had great dinners at the Nautilus, the Front Street Pub, and Darby’s (don’t miss the baked Jarlsburg)! Thank you, Andrea, for the perfect spot! Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful relaxing stay

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot for a long weekend to rest and relax. The house had everything we needed. Everyday was a treat seeing (and hearing) loons, and even a couple of bald eagles. We will certainly return.

House was great and very comfortable, SO many amenities. Stunning views. Easy access to grocery stores nearby. Crowded lake with ample sound from the road across the lake and many motorized vehicles on the lake. We very much enjoyed the kayaks and canoe, and the loons!

Wonderful!

Brought family with 3 adults and children 6yr and 9yrs.Perfect for small kids to wade in water. Didn’t catch fish but caught crayfish. Kayaks and canoe in great shape and everyone had a great time. There is a German Shepherd next-door that is playful, but might runoff with your stuff or tear it up. Little ones need to be cautioned not to try and get it back from him. Otherwise, he is good with kids. The home was very well stocked. Air conditioning in one bedroom upstairs. No ceiling fans in bedrooms. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Grill worked good. Plenty of cooking and baking ware. Even big dispenser for water. Ice trays were filled. Just need to bring your own soap and shampoo items. Our dogs did well in the basement or out on a leash. The house is on the shady side of the lake. The other side has a main thru road with traffic noise, so we were happy with that. Overall a great choice rent.

Happy Place

This was our second time we stayed at Andrea’s in Swanville. We have rented several homes over the years but this one is our absolute favorite. It’s quiet and relaxing at the lake house house with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities but also a short distance to Belfast for shopping and great restaurants. Andrea was an excellent host who went out of her way to help schedule our stay this year and was always available for questions. The memories we had here will last a lifetime!

Time with Friends

We recently spent 4 nights at Heav'nsent and had a wonderful time. It's a beautiful location, and though it was about 90 minutes from the entrance to Acadia, it was well worth it. If our agenda had included Camden, Banghor, or Belfast, it would have been even more ideal--we'll leave that for next time. The kitchen is well stocked and allowed us to enjoy making meals together in the evenings. The view is not overstated and was a highlight every morning as we enjoyed a cup of coffee on the deck. Andrea was prompt in her responses and has created a house that feels like home. We will certianly recommend it for friends and family who make trips to the area in the future.

Maine Vacation

Very nice home with frontage on a pretty lake. Beautiful view.Accurate listing. Good sized combination family room kitchen and dining room on main floor with walkout deck along the entire length. Good sized bedrooms. Property was very clean. All needed amenities are available. Acadia is a 70 minute drive to Bar Harbor. Highly recommend Young’s Lobster Depot for lobster.

This lovely home is situated on beautiful Swan Lake. This was our first visit to Maine and we were looking for a location where we could make day trips. The view from the house is beautiful. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this home.

Friends trip to Maine

This is a beautiful home to relax and enjoy the beauty of Swan Lake. We had fun using the canoe, kayaking, grilling out and sitting around the fire pit and seeing the stars! The kitchen is well stocked and clean for having meals at “home” and sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake. We saw loons, geese, eagles and ospreys daily. I feel in love the call of the loons! The 4 of us had a wonderful stay and would love to return some day!
