Amazing
We had the most amazing time. The views are beautiful. We did not want to leave the property as it was so gorgeous. The hosts were super responsive and kind. We could walk to dinner. We could not ask for a better place to stay. We would love to come back!

5 Star Property Overlooking Lake Como
What a great place to stay on Lake Como! In the charming town of Bellano, this villa is perfect. Like everywhere in Italy, there are steps but Ettore helped with our bags. The kitchen is well stocked, the washing machine works great and there’s a coffee bar by the ferry dock in Bellano with wonderful chocolate croissants! And the view can’t be beat! Thank you, Ettore, for a wonderful stay!

Spectacular
What an absolute treat! If I could give our experience a higher rating I would. This is the home you always hope you will have when you are on vacation. It is spacious. It is sparkling clean. The kitchen is all you could wish for. Oh, and the view! As far as the eye can see. Beautiful Lake Como with surrounding towns and magnificent mountains. We have stayed at MANY vacation homes both in Europe and the USA. This tops all because it tops them all. Our hosts, Etorre and his dad, Ettore senior are kind and communicative. Senior was there to greet us and saw we were older and needed assistance getting our bags up the stairs. It turned out he out-aged all of us by a couple of years. It did not stop him from jumping in and hefting our bags. Both were there to help us out. We don't speak Italian. Senior doesn't speak English. It mattered not. I could go on. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Happily, Etorre had advised us to get a car. Heed his suggestion. The drive from town to the home is steep and windy. We picked one up in Como near the train station. Taxis are not readily available.

Nearly perfect flat with a splendid view on the lake.
The flat had nearly everything what is needed. A Garage for the car. Big Rooms. Comfortable sleeping rooms with Own bathrooms. A Kitchen with complete Equipment. Friendly Host. The View From the Terrasse is outstanding. We enjoyed it all the Time

A taste of Italy
Ettore, your apartment was comfortable & beautiful with a spectacular view! We were sorry we had such a short time here. While your father assisted us with the check in and we spoke no Italian & he spoke no English, his granddaughter did speak a little English, so we got along fine. Your father was quite sweet- all smiles! It took me a minute to figure out the shower (hence the several towels used- to dry the wet floor :) ). Your place is more lovely that the pictures! Fantastic in every way!
Bellano Villa Visto Lago lives up to its name and goes way beyond. This place is top notch and amazing in every way! The furnishings and details are impeccable, fully equipped to accommodate my family of 5 (and our large rental car) in utmost comfort and style. Ettore, the host, and his father are wonderfully kind, responsive, and helpful in every way. But the view from this beautiful and spacious home is the highlight - truly captivating and spectacular! We are already planning for our hopeful return. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Incredible apartment with the best views
This apartment was beautiful. It was the nicest place we stayed in Italy. Ettore was great to work with. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed the patio overlooking the lake with beautiful Mountain View’s. We also were able to walk to town easily on the paths. You do have to climb on the return. I would highly recommend this property. I hope to return some day.

Nice modern 3 bedroom apartment with spacious rooms and big beds. Nice bathrooms and a big garage to park your car. The views on the balcony patio are spectacular! I highly recommend this place and close to Varenna and Ferry ride to Bellagio.

Wonderful Lake Como Accommodations
Bellano is a beautiful, friendly lake town away from the heavy tourist traffic of Varena and Bellagio. We felt a part of the community. Our accommodations provided beautiful views of the lake with a spacious patio, beautiful and spacious rooms very well appointed. The host was very supportive and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. The house is above the city providing maximum views of the lake. The walk up from the city center is a gentle slope after a flight of cobblestone stairs. Taxis are available but must be arranged by call or text.

Awesome place and view
This was a great find, enjoyed every bit of it. Beautiful view of the lake from the deck. Villas was about a 10 to 15 minute walk down to the lake/town which we liked because your didn’t hear any of the town noise on the deck. Thanks for a great week.

Super place with view of the lake and the Alps.
We were fortunate to come across Villavistalago. Looked good on the website and booked it straight away without hesitation. but even better when we arrived. Fab interior, well kitted out and the large balcony is great especially in the late afternoon/early evening for chilling out. The location is ideal, Bellano is not crowded like Varenna. The apartment is convenient for the ferry and the train (more frequent and cheaper than the ferry). Ettore is a great host. Grazie mille for the wonderful stay.

A perfect place on Lake Como
If you visit Lake Como, stay at Villa Vista Lago in Bellano. You need look no further. The single best word to describe the apartment is perfection. The view from the large patio is unrivaled. The apartment is spacious and airy, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed in the finest Italian style. Its modern well-equipped kitchen offers a large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, gas oven/range and microwave. Internet is reliably fast and suitable for streaming. The secure off-street parking is a major bonus. Villa Vista Lago’s hosts are congenial and helpful while respecting privacy. Bellano itself is a cute, quiet, genuine Italian town away from the tourist hordes of Bellagio. Altogether, it makes for an ideal Lake Como experience.

Marvelous winter holiday at Lake Como
One thing that really impressed us about this villa is that it was exceptionally clean! All modern amenities were available to make our stay very comfortable. Highlight was absolutely the breathtaking views of Lake Como surrounded by snow capped mountains! Villa Vista Lago is located in Bellano- not as well known small town but has all the quaintness and charm one imagine a small village town in Italy. Situated in the most beautiful portion of Lake Como (Northern portion of the inverted Y just northeast to Bellagio). Easy accessibility to rest of the towns along both sides of the lake via train and ferries. Most people think of visiting this area during the summer months when many shops and restaurants are opened. However, we were glad we came in January when towns were not congested and we really experienced the local flavor. The cold crisp air was invigorating. We highly recommend this place to stay for relaxation and a break from the hectic pace of life.

Stunning Panaramic View!
The massive apartment is even more beautiful than the photos! The balcony is very spacious with stunning views of lake como, the mountains, and sunset. I was able to spend time watercolor painting and felt such serenity up high in the sky. The apartment is very big, even more space than the three of us ladies needed, but was lovely to have such privacy. Bellano is charming and quieter than the other towns. It was about a 15-20 minute walk down to the water which was a bit challenging coming up at night so it might be easier to drive down to the restaurants. We took the ferry easily to visit Bellaggio and Varenna which were so colorful with shops and both gardens. Ettore and his family were welcoming and always there for us if we had questions or needed recommendations. I plan to return with my family next year to experience this very special spot in the world. Highly recommend!

La Dolce Vita in Bellano
I couldn't recommend Villa Vista Lago more if I tried. Our stay was seamless from the beginning to the end and the property was immaculate and it's all thanks to the amazing host, Ettore. His flexibility with our late arrival was so so appreciated. The outside terrace space is where we spent a ton of our time taking in the dreamy panoramic vista with no obstructions. A view I will never forget for a lifetime! The home was super clean, had a full kitchen we enjoyed, ample clean towels and toilet paper, washing machine, and gorgeously renovated bathrooms. Nothing felt like it was being rationed like I've experienced some other places... The location was just right, it was only a five minute drive from the little main center of Bellano, so charming, and a few minutes further from Varenna, where you can catch a boat ride to other towns on the lake. I would love to make a habit of coming here once at year and stay at Ettore's, couldn't recommend more! I'm certain I will be back again!

Schöne und große Wohnung mit atemberaubendem Ausblick
Die Wohnung befindet sich auf einem gepflegten, ruhig gelegenen Grundstück und hat eine große Terrasse mit tollem Blick auf Comer See. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Die Wohnung ist makellos sauber, sehr gut durchdacht, hochwertig und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Ettore ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren zwar nur drei Nächte, würden aber gerne für längere Zeit kommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Traumhafte Tage in Bellano
Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Blick ist ein Traum, die Lage oberhalb Bellano's perfekt. Über kleine Fußgängerpfade ist man in 10 Minuten an der Hafenpromenade. Ettore war die ganze Zeit sehr zuvorkommend. Das Appartement ist unglaublich sauber. Wir hoffen, wieder einmal zurückkehren zu können! Nursen + Erik

Hammer Blick, nette Leute, super Erholung und eine tolle Wohnung!
Der Empfang war super freundlich. Nachdem wir kurz eingewiesen wurden, konnte der Urlaub beginnen. Wir hatten vorab mit dem Vermieter geschrieben, was es für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Käse, Schinken und Wein gibt. Diese haben wir direkt ausgenutzt und alles nötige besorgen können. Die Wohnung war perfekt sauber, kein Haar etc. Die Küche ist super eingerichtet und es war wirklich alles vorhanden. An die Kaffeemaschine mussten wir uns erst gewöhnen, aber der Kaffee hat uns deutlich besser geschmeckt als bei uns. Wie bereits in den vorherigen Rezessionen beschrieben ist der unverbaute Blick auf den Comer See und die gegenüberliegende Städte einfach der Hammer und lädt zum Verweilen auf dem Balkon ein. Vor allem abends haben wir die Sonne auf dem Balkon genossen! Einfach genial!!! Unser Urlaub war demnach sehr erholsam und wir haben ihn in vollen Zügen genießen können. Vielen lieben Dank Ettore!!

Wonderful villa at Lake Como
This was an amazing location and the villa had everything we needed. I can't say enough good things. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was perfect for visiting all of the towns around the lake and convenient for a day trip to Milan.
