"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely family home, there was plenty of space and lots of outdoor activities. We really liked the pool however it isn’t fenced which would have been good to know in advance. There is a local vineyard, restaurant and a supermarket nearby. We would definitely recommend this large house to other groups wanting a quiet getaway. The hosts were extremely helpful and offered to help with anything we needed."

La cuisine est très bien équipée, surtout son four xxl et sa cuisinière qui sont très bien pour cuisiner des grandes quantités. Côté activités et cultures: la grande guerre avec la butte de Vauquois, ravin du génie, mémorial de Verdun, ou la cave de Joseph Perrier à Châlon en Champagne.... "The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

Alhoewel een Senseo-apparaat onhandig is als je 6 koppen koffie nodig hebt, met 3 personen ieder 2 koppen. Dan is een koffiezetapparaat gemakkelijker. Maar dat went en is een kwestie van aanpassen.
