Fully furnished cabin on dead end ct. built in 2015 on West Shore of Lake Movil. Full Climate Control inside, 800 sq. ft. covered lakeside deck, 100 sq. ft. lakefront patio, 120 ft aluminum dock (summer).

Another great day

This is our second summer staying at the cabin and once again we had a great experience. Unfortunately, it was cut short by a storm but the experience we had with the cabin was fantastic. It is a beautiful cabin and very well stocked, clean and very well taken care of. We are looking forward to returning.

Lake Movil retreat

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Movil home. Its a beautiful A frame home with wood furnishings. Its a quiet lake and adjacent neighbors were quiet and friendly. It was a very nice relaxing place to stay. The kitchen was well stocked, one very nice full sized bathroom, and a smaller second bathroom upstairs. It has a nice sized dock to park a boat. Randy was very accessible for any questions you may have and gets back to you quickly. Check in and check out was very easy. We would come back again!

Family week

My family spent 5 days here, and had the best time ! It was a great location, not far from a walmart, and minutes from a boat access. The property was very private, the neighboor was nice and introduced themselves. Cabin was so beautiful, perfect set up for us who have 1 teen who got his own room, and our two littles ones who shared the other room (had small cute beds). Kitchen came with almost all we needed, no luck fishing other then a small perch here and there . Would go back !

Enjoyable Stay!

Nice place, great view, quiet lake. Randy (the host) was very responsive. The cabin/house/property was nice and well-maintained. We had a lot of rain the week of our stay so we enjoyed the covered deck immensely.

June get-away

We had a very relaxing enjoyable time at this cabin. The property and amenities were just as describe in the listing and any communication with the host were answered and handled quicky - although we did not have any major issues just little questions from newby's at the VRBO experience. We would stay here again and certainly recommend to others. If there was one drawback (minor) we would have liked screens in our bedroom window so we could have opened it and enjoyed the sounds of the lake. All good!!!

Outstanding Lake home near Bemidji

The property was even better than the pictures would suggest. The house was super close to the water and the deck was our favorite hang out spot in the morning with a cup of coffee. The host Randy was very responsive and honestly one of the easiest hosts I have ever interacted with when it came to any questions. We stayed for 1 week with our 2 dogs. The house was clean and had plenty of space to accommodate our crew. This has become one of our favorite rental places around Bemidji. We will definitely look to stay here again! Great Place!

Family Vacation

The property was perfect for out summer vacation. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need for a week on the lake. The covered deck gives you a perfect view of the lake no matter what the weather is. Quiet lake with great Bass and Panfish fishing. We will be back again.

Cute and cozy

The cabin was cute, clean, and cozy. Kitchen was well supplied (stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc). I loved have breakfast with my family around the enormous island. Plenty of room for the 4 of us to have our own space when needed. No main level tv and the Wi-Fi password didnt work: actually better for us to reconnect with each other (and play card/board games). Beds were quiet stiff in my opinion, but I'm used to my koosh bed at home. Wish the master bedroom had nightstands, but again, its just something i am used to at home. The weber grill leg was broken so someone jammed a large stick up the leg tube so it would stay up. Someone must have had a campfire in the Weber grill, because it was warped on the inside (still functional though). The bottom of the outdoor firepit had large holes...so the ashes and logs fell thru onto the sidewalk. Not sure if this is how it always has been, but it causes a bit of a mess. The lake was decent for shore fishing (kids liked the quantity...didn't matter the size). After the kids got over the initial shock of "seaweed" touching their legs while they swam, they spent hours enjoying the water. Sunsets are gorgeous! Atmosphere is quiet. The loon cries were lovely...I haven't heard one in a long time. Overall, really nice way to disconnect from busy life for a week.

Awesome place!

We loved our stay! They stocked the house with everything we needed and were very responsive with all of our questions. Great fishing lake. We had a lot of fun exploring lake Movil and Turtle Lake which is connected. We will definitely be staying again!

A Great Place to Stay!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The inside was very clean and comfortable. There is not a TV in the main living area, only in bedrooms but it just encouraged us to play board games, which was better anyway! We did not notice there wasn’t a microwave in the amenities, so just pack accordingly. We were able to dock our 19’ boat without issue. Even though the shore is shallow, it’s soft ground and the dock is long. If you are planning to plug in your boat, bring a long extension cord. Amazing porch! Even if you have a rain day, you can still sit outside. Two very clean bathrooms and lots of storage. It could have used a few more kitchen utensil items like stainless steal bowls and tongs so if there is something you NEED to have, bring it. Yard is a little bit tight for turning a truck and trailer around but fine if you have a spotter to help avoid sprinkler heads. We brought our own collapsible table for cleaning fish outside. Hoses are there to use. We had a lot of success fishing in just a short time. Great bass lake! We spent most of our time fishing bass and pike, casting near the reeds. Perhaps the best part of the trip was that there were no mosquitos. It’s rich with dragonflies who feast on them! Our host was very responsive and we would recommend to others.
