'Some cheaper rooms dark & noisy but others bright & airy. Reception staff very helpful & supportive throughout. Bazaar Spa enjoyable & nice treatments'

'I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening.'

'The room was tidy and clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived early and placed our case in the room when if was ready. My wife really enjoyed the spa which is located a short walk across the road from the hotel. We would have preferred an self service open buffet style continental breakfast'

'If you can afford any other hotel please for the love of god stay there. I would rather stay at the Bates Motel instead of this tish hole. After a long hard day working at Harewood House food festival we arrived to check in at 8pm to be told we had to pay to park in the hotel car park (like they didn’t charge enough for the crap room to cover the cost of this and they certainly don’t put that money to the upkeep of the hotel) We have stayed in many hotels but this by far is the worst.
