Walk down the steps at the end of the street to the First Street Rapids Park. Cast your fishing line into the river from a large boulder at river's edge. Turn right on the path and take the footbridge that crosses over the river to the Aubrey Butte River Trail. Turn in the opposite direction along the river path and walk to downtown Bend -- just a short walk away!

To venture beyond downtown, take the parkway just outside the neighborhood, to numerous points of interest in town and beyond -- Mt Bachelor Ski Resort, fabulous mountain lakes, hiking and biking trails, beautiful golf courses and many more of the attractions that make Bend such a popular destination.
