I book for 3 nights 3 rooms with family and we just stay one night next day check out Reason Room so dirty Blanket got hair and smelly Toilet so dirty Staff rude No amenities Property around area no manage well I have worst experience and I feel embarrassed in front of my family If you ask for points from 0 to 10 I give zero Even we check out 2 day early staff didn’t ask why you checkout Because I know I can’t get refund back we pay for three night $1000

Rooms were not clean, bedsheets were dirty, had to call room service to change. The glasses and water bottles in the room were not clean. Overall upkeep of the room was not up to a standard for it to be called a three star hotel.

Not worth the price and star rating
This is an excellent resort from the past .. everything they have is outdated and for the prince and star rating they show .. I expected more ... Staff was friendly and they restaurants is over pricey .. Much better food is available outside for lesser price ... I think they are planning some remodeling and I hope it’s for the better otherwise I don’t think it’s that great of a place

Everything at the Hotel was nice and lovely....However there are no escalators or lifts to 2nd level. This can a burden when you have a no of suitcases (pity the bell boy !) or for senior citizens to climb up the stairs. Decent resort, good service, v nice front desk
Had a very comfortable stay. The service was good and the team at the reception were pretty helpful and nice. I was not charged anything extra for the rollon bed and that was really great. However, the absence of details of the resort's offerings in a book/ brochure in the room was a slight problem. It would have helped us use the resort facilities more.

Spacious rooms & comfortable stay
The property is old and not maintained properly. I had to reject the first room and had to take another room which was acceptable. The shower cubicle did not work. Had to use the tub. The staff are very good and attentive. Break fast buffet was just ordinary. The food at the PUNJABI DABA was very good. The property is good and needs renovation very badly.

Stayed in the "deluxe" room, second floor, no elevator. More than one electric plug not working. Small towels in the bathroom not available for the 1st and 3rd day, only shower ones. Curtains partially detached from ceiling rail. Bathroom would need more thorough cleaning, and renovation, sink cracked. Light in the clothes cabinet, switch broken so light is always on even during the night, unless you turn the main electric switch off. The hotel is convention/marriage/disco center, loud music until late at night. Windows not closing noise outside. Ok for coffe/tea set, but only one cup, cracked, no plate, one plastic stick for stirring. The Whole hotel need much better cleaning.

Good place as an airport transit
Access is difficult. Roads are still being made. Need to call hotel for guidance. Place is good and airy. Food was nice Bfast was just average. Room is big, but all things look little old. Fatigue has set in. In bathroom, cleanliness is an issue. Taps are dirty. Staff is good. At reception they were unable to trace our fully paid booking for about 15 mins.

An absolute dump
It was only a 7-hour event, but let me go through it chronologically. 1:30am- Booked to catch a quick nap before I connected to a 10am flight. To start with the hotel was difficult to locate and the taxi guy went around for a while, probably cannot blame the hotel 100% for this. 1:40am- After checking in, had to carry some of my own luggage up 2 floors as there are no elevators in this hotel. Of course a young chap helped me with the luggage. The room was really poor quality with the place totally worn down. 1:50am- Though the AC was ON, it didn't feel like it. Found the balcony door open(!). Attempts to close it failed and called the front-desk. The luggage guy came back to fix it. After a 10 minute unsuccessful try I had to call the front-desk and ask for a different room. 2:15am- I was in a room where things seemed normal, but the room was in no better shape than the last one. Still a totally worn-out room with poor furnishings. 7:45am- Down at the restaurant for breakfast, it looked more like a local eatery; nothing wrong with them except that this was run by Royal Orchid. The service, well there was none to speak of. The tea I asked for never came. My omelette looked suspicious. 8:15am- Checked out and ready to catch a taxi back to the airport. Wait a minute! The only way was to get a hotel car @ 2.5 times the fare of a local cab.

L'adresse de cet hôtel m'avait été donnée par mon correspondant afin de faciliter notre rencontre. L'arrivée en taxi laissait planer un doute... Quelle bonne surprise à l'arrivée! Sans être un palace, cet hôtel est confortable,bien tenu; ma chambre était spacieuse; le personnel est accueillant. Que demander de plus pour une escale!

This is a nice place to stay with a restaurant and swimming pool. Free breakfast buffet style, although a more non-veg menu is preferred. Prompt response to all requests. TV programs are commendable with many movie channels as well as family programs like National Geograhic, etc. Housekeepimg personnel are pleasant and helpful. Would recommend to others.

The stay was okay. There is nothing to distinguish this hotel. We chose this because the location suited us of because of some pressing engagements we have. But the hotel can be summarized as mediocre. Rooms are okay, the service is average, there re no lifts. The hotel doesn't pretend to be anything else anyway , but the pricing is a bit steep for the kind of service provided. It is recommended only if you want to live in Yelahanka , or you may be underwhelmed by the experience

The superior rooms we checked in were located in a serene location within the vast property. The layout of the rooms are commendably good. The balcony was perfectly complimenting the occassional thunder showers. The furniture placed in the balcony could have been cleaned up before the arrival of guests. The telephones including helplines remained unanswered occassionally leaving doubts on the security of inmates. The roads leading to the hotel is certainly confusing and badly maintained...leave alone the numerous spead breakers.

Royal Orchid is a great respite from the intensity that is often time "India"..We hope to return to the Royal Orchid on our next visit to Bangalore.... Internet service needs to be improved, however....

Freindly, efficient service
Had to use the business center and they didn't charge me for 10 minutes of internet use and printing six pages. Pros: Room was well sized, hotel staff were extremely polite and went out of the way to please, comfortable room. Cons: NO Elevator (although the hotel has only Ground+2 Floors, one is needed), room fittings need an upgrade (not too bad though).

Bad old India tourism
Compared to the same chain's excellent hotel in Mysore, this one is reminiscent of the bad old days of travel in India when nothing was quite right. The entrance is dark and barren, with only very loud music from beyond to suggest life. There's no lift, so make sure to arrive and leave when there are staff about to carry bags. The room had been modernized but the shower drain was blocked and there was no hot water when we left in the middle of the night for our flight. Checking out took an age, with very slow processing of our not at all complicated bill. Fortunately friends took us out for dinner but, had we stayed in, we wouldn't have been able to find a quiet niche in the restaurant. Only positives were that room service was excellent and the hotel is tolerably close to the new airport.
